A fantastic horror/comedy that will keep you on your toes. This game truly surprised me at certain points. I felt happiness, sadness, dread, and friendship throughout this game. I don't think I have played anything quite like it in my life. It is a very unique experience that is best not spoiled in a review. I loved the soundtrack, the characters, the controls, and the overall gameplay loop. There were some genuine moments where I was panicking trying to complete a level because of the obstacles that they throw it your way. And there are a ton of unique surprised in store for players. If you are wanting something different or something that keeps you guessing, look no further. This is the game for you. Welcome to The Upturned.

An emotionally heartwarming experience from beginning to end. Words cannot describe the emotions I have felt when playing this game. In the beginning, the game starts out slow, but slowly develops into a more meaningful story that most people have probably experienced with age. The game truly spoke to me. I even cried a couple times. The gameplay itself is fantastic as well. Every aspect of this game is super polished, from the presentation, the story, the gameplay, the characters, and the music. I could not possibly say enough good things about this game, and I also think it would be a disservice to spoil any contents of the story for any newcomers to this game. What I do think, is that this game is an experience worth having. I daresay, it is an experience NEEDED having. Do yourself a favor and buy this game.

A fun, eerie ode to top down horror games on days past. I don't typically play a bunch of horror games because the genre is not usually up my alley, but I decided to give this particular one a shot since I liked the graphical aesthetics. I am glad I did. This game in my opinion doesn't get overly scary, but there is a constant spooky atmosphere and interesting characters that draw you in. There are also a ton of optional/main quest puzzles to figure out. This game is also in the easier side by default in comparison to other horror titles I have played though like I said before, I haven't played that many. This game is also a breath of fresh air in an over-saturated Triple A gaming landscape. And the best part for me? The story is easy to digest and follow. I don't want to speak too much on the details of the plot because that would defeat the purpose of playing the game yourself. I would just recommend newcomers to horror games and veterans alike to give it a try, and I know it will not disappoint.

A fantastic love-letter to the ill-remembered The Legend of Zelda CDI games. I just finished this game with 100% completion just a short while ago, and I couldn't begin to say how awesome this game is. This game corrects everything that was wrong with the Zelda CDI games, and adds its own flair, and personality to its overarching storyline. The game isn't particularly long, and it isn't very difficult either on its base difficulty level, but the overall quality of the entire game is both nostalgic and feels fresh at the same time. Every area and encounter is fair, polished, and concise. The cut scenes are hilarious and top-notch, and the game doesn't outstay its welcome. I don't want to spoil anything from the game itself, but if you have ever had a fleeting interest in the Zelda CDI games, but couldn't get around all of the janky mechanics, this is the game for you. It is a unique title on the Steam store. Give it a try!

An awesome ode to the classics of the 90's. Playing this game has reminded me what made me enjoy games in the first place. With so many games with uninteresting plots. characters, and gameplay elements coming out currently, it is hard for someone like me to find a game I truly enjoy. I have had zero issues clicking with this game, and every minute you put into this game is nothing but pure joy. A little frustration sometimes as well, but mostly pure joy. If you love Super Mario 64 or Banjo Kazooie, grab this one. I would say that it is a blend of Conker's Bad Fur Day, and Banjo Kazooie. And I couldn't think of a better blend. Kudos to the developer and I hope a sequel is someday in the cards. I absolutely recommend this game.

Little Nightmares II is an excellent sequel to the spooky first game, and the gameplay elements pick up right where you left off in the first game. I don't want to go into the story here since that would spoil the whole premise of the game, and the game itself isn't particularly long. It is best to experience it for yourself. The ominous soundtrack is great, the horror based puzzles are fun and engaging, and the game has enough checkpoints between sections to not become frustrating. There are also collectibles to be found for achievement hunters, and there are also trophies for those that find unique ways to get past each scenario. I can't recommend this game enough if you enjoyed the first one. Pick it up!

There are far too many good things I could say about this game to be able to place into a single review. I don't think I have ever played a more unique Metroidvania in my time gaming, and this game never disappoints. I only played the game to its main boss completion, but there is also a plethora of secrets to find for those that want to stick around long after the credits roll. For me, the biggest standout attractions about this game are the stellar graphics, and incredible soundtrack. I have never seen or heard anything like what this game gives, and the game is perfectly balanced. The gameplay isn't overly challenging, and you feel incredibly smart every time you complete a puzzle and find an unlockable. Things like that are the hallmark of a good game. I bought this game at launch and loved it to pieces. If you love Metroidvanias and also love puzzle games, give this one a try. I didn't regret it, and I don't think you will either.

Fallout 4 is an addicting wasteland adventure that has aged pretty well. If you enjoyed Fallout 3, then you will more than likely enjoy this title. I definitely wouldn't say that the story content is as good as it was in Fallout: New Vegas, but that sentiment is pretty common from most people. There are a wealth of improvements that modernize the gameplay more though, whether it be your character's movement, the ability to build a homestead from scratch, the tightening of the combat, and the overall polish of the world. And this game runs beautifully on Steam Deck OLED and was absolutely my ideal way of playing. I don't really think I should go into specifics on the story elements, but there a few factions to choose from when travelling through the wasteland, plus you have the main storyline to enjoy as well. And you can develop your character in a plethora of ways based on the skills and skill points you allocate. There is deeper lore buired in this game if you are willing to look for it. There is also plenty of DLC for those that want a little more meat on the bones, but the base game to be honest has plenty of content as it is. And you can also mod the heck out of this game if you choose to do so. This game also goes on sale regularly and is an easy purchase discounted. Give it a try if you enjoy Bethesda games.

I have never been one to typically enjoy racing games that are more on the realistic side, but I sure am glad that I took a chance on this one. I also haven't played Forza since my Xbox 360 days, so I was curious to see how the Forza Horizon series stacked up in comparison. I can honestly say that this game may be one of my favorite racing games ever at the point. I have only put in roughly 30 hours at the time of this review, but those hours are just the tip of the iceberg. And the content is fun too. Each race/task you take on is fun and engaging, and the online components of this game are excellent, and make you feel as part of a team when playing online. And all of the cars are customizable (that I tried), and there are plenty of ways to tweak your racing experience so that you can have the experience you want, whether you are a veteran of the series, or new to Forza Horizon like me. I could go on and on in this review on the positives. The graphics are beautiful (I played on Steam Deck OLED), the soundtrack has a solid variety, there are plenty of unlockables, the story elements aren't half bad, and the cars are a blast to drive. I honestly don't think you could ever go wrong with purchasing this game, especially with all the cool DLC that is out.

I am not one to typically write shorter reviews, but this Quake II collection is pretty straightforward. This is an in your face action title that is thrilling from start to finish. There are multiple campaigns to complete and a solid amount of weapon options to keep the action interesting. If you are a fan of classic boomer shooters, this is one of the first ones you should get.
