My favorite game of all time. It's such a love letter to older platformers. It replicates the feel and gameplay of classic games while elevating the lower parts. The death system is punishing without making you want to tear your hair out. The other campaigns are such amazing experiences(Personal favorite is Plague of Shadows.)

The stories of each campaign is an amazing experience that ties back to the previous campaign in some way. I truly recommend picking this game up someday if you're into 2D platformers.

Amazing game, although the first area is a bit hard to get through, visually and gameplay wise. After that first area, the world feels far more alive. Most of the bosses in this game are endlessly replayable and fun to refight. The community for this game is also great, it's such a nice and supporting community. Hollow Knight is also one of the only games that I've seen that most people are interested in every aspect in the game, Gameplay, Lore, Areas, etc.

It's a great metroidvania and a must play.
