What a game! My first Souls game and it's a great one. The story is great if pieced together through bits and pieces, especially those NPC questlines which can be a real head scratcher to get through, if not downright impossible without looking up a guide. Yet, after having completed all those quests, the storylines are great and the lore feels in-depth and has weight to it. The combat felt great, having a great collection of weapon arts, sorceries and incantations, that I had tons of fun using. Graphically, the game is stunning yet my low end GPU can still run it on high settings, thank you to FromSoft for that. There aren't many negatives. The story never once felt dragged on, and each character's motivations felt meaningful and strong. The only thing might be, as I mentioned earlier, confusing optional quests.
I'd give this game a 9.5/10 and I'd highly recommend it to everyone, especially those who have never delved into any Souls games before. This might be a great introductory game into the world of Souls, as it certainly was for me. Looking forward to 'Shadow of the Erdtree'!
