I never truly played the base game without mods, so it's hard for me to know what the game really started as. However, the mods for this game are outstanding, which really gave me a chance to test my cpu, graphics card, memory etc. Overall, I would recommend the game to anyone who enjoys modding and the mid-evil/fantasy style of this game. I enjoy the play and the quests + story this game offers.
