Besides the now infamous new UI situation, of which it is already been addressed by Crytek and they already confirmed will change due to the reception it is getting, this new update has also resulted in many people no longer able to keep up with the specs required and thus no longer able to keep playing the game. One of them is a dear friend of mine, who was a very loyal player to the game and an excellent sport (So much so that guilt never left me when playing with him, as he always carried the match, but this was never a problem for him). That might seem unrelated, as it is a casualty to the ever-present advace towards the future, the push to improving games and making them look more pretty and realistic... But it personally annoys me and I think it sucks. Just make a new game, don't update it pushing out everyone without a powerfull computer from the game. I'm all up for improvements, specially in optimization, but do games really need to look more realistic? Do we really need water to look more realistic? I'm sad people just got pushed from a game so engaging and unique because of things that really don't seem to bring that much to the table.
