Se pune făina într-un bol și se face o gaură mică în mijloc. Se pune drojdia în această gaură și apoi se toarnă laptele călduț. Se amestecă bine cu mâna până când drojdia se dizolvă complet în lapte. Se acoperă bolul cu o cârpă și se lasă timp de 10-15 minute, până când drojdia începe să 'lucreze' succes.
