Well, I have to say, graphics are amazing, OST is amazing, the battle system is very immersive with its type matchups, bootlegs and extra effects added to moves. The difficulty setting is entirely up to the player (if they know the settings menu) as well. The story overall was great, with interesting bosses that add to the mystery of what is actually going on the main plot that makes you even more curious of what is going on. The game being an open world setting, has creative puzzles that reward the player that actually feel rewarding, with some requiring abilities that would be acquired later on. Not to mention, the split evolutions that can be acquired can be discovered by the player if they look hard enough, such as one requiring a move that makes all ranged attacks into melee attacks. (although some of these hints are a bit vague at times)

Grinding for all of the achievements was definitely worth it, since they are quite easy to accomplish (2 are miss-able however), even those that include the "shinies" of the game can be hunted quite easily with a bit of grinding (unlike pokemon). Completing the Bestiary also gives insight into what the monsters are based of too, which also pulled me in to completing it.


Overall? I give it a 10/10. Sure, it has flaws but its something I can leave out since they are not too major. This game should be in a top 10 list for anyone willing to try out a creature collector.
