expensive, but fun.

fun game, when it works, not worth your time and energy.
after around 2000-ish hours logged on this and another steam account I can tell you that it does not get better the further you go, in fact it somehow finds other ways to be worse and want to spoon out your eyes, the same flaws are still present everywhere and the devs make it clear they don't care about anything other than making money and that they do not understand what the actual players want. they've put in so much time and effort to make a game that fills in the gap that WoT could not and yet the systems put in place hardly work such as scouting or worse yet are completely inconsistent. claims of fixing some glitches were made but even a completely blindfolded blind man can see it's all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
the worse part is you'll put up with it for a while but after years of just seeing it go downhill with nothing good in sight it's just more frustrating than fun to play, I mean even events make this clear, it's always been the same since they stopped being creative like with the tank soccer and crazy shenanigans.
It's obvious a f2p game needs to make ways to make money, but it should not be at the expense of other people's experience of the game, at least make the grind fun and interesting, not the same event you've been putting out for the past 3 years, and the battle pass system just makes it worse because now you don't even need an event for people to throw their money on the next OP meta, they'll do it because simply this week if you throw your money and play the game more, so that you can probably pay even more, you'll then have this week's choice of OP vehicle! it's just not even fun, you're putting in a system that'll in the long run, require less effort to get people's money, there is absolutely no experience to be made with the BP system just grind away even more like you've been doing, absolutely nothing new from what you've already been doing the entire time.

The game has become next to impossible for me to enjoy again and it's just no longer worth allotting any of my free time on it. In order to enjoy this game you'd have to be okay with being in an abusive relationship, not even as a joke, it's literally what it is. Sometimes it'll be fun, but for the most part you're walking on glass barefoot hoping to find the fun all while ignoring everything else. Overall: Nice graphics, Nice sounds, all there be your next addiction and abusive relationship.

Still my favoite civ game out of all of them
