This won game of the year for me!
Loved translating the languages, and noticed how the symbols looked representative of the qualities of each culture - some languages were more pictographic, some more geometric, or more scientific - also enjoyed the grammar of each language and how it was different, showcasing that languages develop differently. The languages drew inspiration from different cultures, and I believe that language is such an essential part in understanding a culture. I like the message of the game - the power of language to bring people together.
I would highly recommend Chants of Sennaar!

Love the game! This reminds me of Ship of Fools, for those looking for a similar game. The gameplay loop is fun, the art style is the cutest; I think there is lots of potential to expand in the future. I played on PC, and the controls were not meant for keyboard and mouse, but I got used to them quickly. Overall a good game; wold recommend!

I've played this game during the pandemic with my boyfriend and we both absolutely loved spending time together trying our best on all the levels and doing all the hidden levels. Highly recommend!
