You joined a pub I was in and got kicked for asking to join a comp team lol, i felt bad so i figured id give you some ideas

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsfneOi1rEs this video kinda covers a lot of bases even if it's a little old, but generally if you wanna find a team you should look around in the main leagues and ask around, im sure discord is generally a pretty helpful way to get started as that's gotten much larger since the date of this video

generally you should have a decent mic and good settings (game settings good specs cost quite a bit these days) but other then that you should be good
