I bought the game a few hours ago, spent the following hours trying everything i could to make this game work. I triple checked that my specs lined up too. It seems like even older players are having issue with launching the game. I'd rather not buy a game if i can't be certain it will always launch.

It's a shame since i was super excited to try this game, but when you're not even certain it will even launch.. whats the point?

While the original spore was meh, this port of it is absolutely awful. Next to impossible to get mods onto it and crashes A LOT. Bare in mind this is the only game of mine that will crash at-least once every 3 play throughs.

I really recommend getting it for free or buying it elsewhere that is easier to install mods onto. Unfortunately its far too late for me to refund this.

I really did want to like this game, considering the interesting premise.

While everything else was pretty good, the gameplay itself was incredibly boring. Worse still, no matter how much messing about i did i couldn't get the right angles for most of the photos. They all stopped been scary after the 3rd time i saw them.

I watched the ending and for a game with such great build up, i was expecting something less.. cheap. It felt so abrupt too. Like the game was building up a lore, and then an abrupt "your time in this world is over, die".

No hate at the dev though, besides the ending and tedious gameplay, everything else was great. The price is definitely worth the build up, but not the payoff.

I'm usually a huge wuss when it comes to horror-esq games, but this one didn't scare me at all. It was actually quite amusing to laugh off the guy's talks of "im behind you" etc, and to honestly answer "no" when they asked if i was uncomfortable.

Then again my back was literally against a wall the whole time, so that probably played a part in me not been scared whatsoever.

Anyway yea i'd recommend it if you don't mind some unusual questions here or there. I didn't learn anything new as i've been soul-searching for awhile, but i'm very interested in what this new project will be. I hope i get picked to participate!

Also sidenote: does anyone else think the guy in the game looks like Dr Eggman? But more old

Wish there was a 'neutral' option to vote, because i both love and dislike this game.

The mods *really* carry this game's replay value. Which, i believe, is not a good thing. It's great they've embraced mods, but it's negatively impacted the base game and the content it has. And i fear this will be a trend in future games- not just those made by Giants software. Where there will be a reliance on mods made by players to 'fix' the game. Not that the game is horrible on it's own, just quite barren for a 2019 game. I mean, why would seasons not be implemented in a farming game by 2019? (modders thankfully made a seasons mod, but still)

Overall all i can really say is if you're gonna focus on animal farming, be wary about buying this game because it may disappoint you. If you're going to focus on crops or chopping trees, then i'd say it's a pretty good investment and you will likely be satisfied with it.

Although be warned that the wood farming can be quite difficult, especially if you're playing on a laptop or just don't use a mouse. Even then i think the logs have a tendency to fall out of your grasp randomly. Again, mods mostly fix these issues but people shouldn't have to fix a game they paid for.

It is incredibly satisfying and would recommend it to just about anyone. It's a game that can trick you into playing till midnight before even realising it's night!

It's clear the devs know what they're doing too, as each update seems to add more than just new places to clean- having new upgrades and new challenges to face as well as continuing the story.

Only real gripe with the game right now is how sometimes the game will pronounce something is clean too early and automatically erase any of the visible remaining dirt- but it doesn't hinder the game much! Don't know how they would fix that anyway haha (it doesn't happen all the time)

I have tolerated many awful dragon games, simply because there are so few dragon games out there, but especially for a pc game... it's like a nothing burger. The environments are big but you can only do like 5 things in each, at least 4 of which include killing enemies.

I like the dragon model, i like playing as a dragon, but their breath power never sticks to target- i have to constantly readjust everything to land a single shot on enemies. The difference between this and the mobile games i endure are that the mobile games actually are consistent with the trajectory of the elemental attacks and i can figure out how to move my dragon so the attacks land.

I really did want to like this game, i had barely any expectations, but somehow this disappointed me. It has so much potential, but not worth your time or money in it's current state.
