The game genuinely fails to promote fun in any meaningful way. Players are pressured to follow the meta in every match. Killers consistently resort to slugging, camping, and tunneling, without exception. If that's not the case, then your teammates often lack basic game sense, failing to touch generators or go on beyond their first hook. While the game has a slight chance of being enjoyable—if both sides play fairly—this occurrence is so rare it's almost laughable.
The developers show little regard for balance and seem unable to grasp the concept of maintaining an even playing field. Meanwhile, the community is perpetually at odds, with players attacking each other over the smallest issues. It's impossible to win with these people.
Play this game only if you are a masochist and are prepared for nonstop frustrating matches. Personally, I keep playing solely because I'm addicted to the game-play of the Hillbilly, there's no other game-play like the Hillbilly. that's the only reason this game survives. There's nothing like it that can stay alive more then a-couple months, that and the licenses.
