Ok, so there's good and bad here.

Good: Actual content added by the DLC is very good. Stages are pretty and fun, Items are unique and interesting, the new final boss is awesome, and the new survivors are very cool (though seeker could use a damage buff maybe). Also I really like the Halcyon shrines

Bad: this update added a lot of bugs. Some are minor, some are annoying, and a few are gamebreaking (both in that you can get OP runs, and that you can get your run ended). Also False Son's Beam attack could use a line telegraph.

However, I think that with a bit of polish, this DLC could be amazing

8/10, too many bugs, but the DLC's actual content is excellent.

Really fun and unique. The 4th proper boss might be one of my new favorite bosses in any game.

Sadly the dev team had to break up, so don't expect any more updates TvT

This game is absolutely incredible. Great Gameplay, Story, Character and Monster Design, and Music. Get it.

With friends, this is one of the funniest games you'll ever play while simultaneously being one of the most terrifying. An absolute blast. All of the enemies feel totally different to deal with. The gameplay loop rarely gets stale with friends.

Solo, the game is incredibly scary, and brutally difficult. Basically like a hardcore mode. Overall less fun solo, but you can at least play with randos.

An awesome remaster of the first Risk of Rain. Brutally difficult but very very fun!

Got a Bitter Gem and a golden bulk detonator on the first mission I even went on with friends.

Gameplay loop is very fun and doesn't get stale easily.

My one gripe, though, is the difficulty of getting Matrix Cores, especially specific Overclocks. If you do the Core Hunt, Deep Dive, and Elite Deep Dive every week, that's 3 blank Matrix Cores, 3 Overclock Matrix Cores, and 3 Cosmetic Matrix Cores (1 of each from each source). Promoting past the 1st promotion on a character also grants 3 cores. However, there aren't many other ways of getting Cores. The initial Assignment "Breaching The Core" or whatever it's called grants 6 cores, and occasionally event assignments will grant a core, but in order to get more than 6 Overclocks in an average week, you need to promote, which can be a tedious process.

Pretty fun. Spent hours looking for tin until I found out it was mostly in the clay biome
