The gameplay is fun but the game itself seems to constantly combat that fun. From spawning several medium-heavy enemy units that one shot you while taking a whole armoury to defeat, to the lack of planet visibility from ridiculous amount of fog, it becomes very difficult to enjoy the game to its fullest.

The enemies themselves aren't very difficult, it's the sheer number of them coming at you that create this artificial difficulty where it challenges both your crowd control skill and your PCs framerate. I'm alright with that because this is a horde shooter, just wish they tweaked it properly so the enemies that come at you in numbers also died just as quickly as you.

However, I cannot enjoy the horde shooting part of this when I can't see 2 meters ahead of me while enemies snipe me from a mile away. I do not understand the developer's obsession with fogs but it really hinders the experience when every single planet (regardless of weather condition) is fogged up.

Not to mention the performance is very poor and takes up almost 80GB in size while being very buggy. The game obviously lacks major optimization but that's also thanks to the content starved adhd pilled folks that can't go one update without demanding new content instead of bug and performance fix.

Aside from all the cons of the game, everything else is very good! The current mainstream market is riddled with games catered to hardcore/twitch gamers so seeing a co-op game get this popular is a breath of fresh air.
