This is a very nice and polished game, cant wait for chapter 5 of story mode!

So, Scrap Mechanic, huh, crazy game, Scrap mechanic is a fun sandbox to let you express your creativity and go wild, with it's nice and snuggly building system you will be making stuff from cars to bikes to planes, to working calculators and hover-tanks with practice.
Mods are a massive part of scrap mechanic too, they really improve the experience in my opinion, but learn the game normally before delving into the steam workshop.

Scrap mechanic also has two other modes if doing anything you want isn't up your alley:

SURVIVAL: an extensive survival game that has all the great features of scrap mechanic, build bases, set up traps, create cars to transport fruit to sell, explore giant warehouse dungeons, all while defending your farm against the enemy farmbot hordes!

CHALLENGE MODE: challenge mode lets you put your building skills to the test, learn to create wall crawlers, ball carriers, and just a fast car with limited resources, there are also custom challenge trials that can be created, downloaded and played via the workshop.

Plus, if that wasn't enough (how?) custom games can be made within and downloaded.

I'd say scrap mechanic is pretty worth it! Of course, the game is in early access and survival is not finished fully, but what we have now is great, and it can only get better from here.
