I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ done. Every time someone brings up DBZ, it devolves into a "Hey, Let's Bash DBZ!" discussion. Most anime fans I know despise it, and even the ones who simply don't like it make me feel like I'm committing some kind of sin for liking DBZ. Not their fault, but it just seems like I'm in the wrong for liking DBZ if so many people seem to dislike it.

Hell, even the so called "fans" constantly complain about the series, and admit that nostalgia is the only reason they like it. Even websites dedicated to DBZ have loads of people who don't like it. Other shounens of supposed superior quality are brought up when discussing DBZ sometimes, and it makes me question why to even like DBZ if shows like One Piece apparently do everything it does, only significantly better.

I've bought every single DVD of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, the movies, etc., and I'm actually now considering selling them off. I loved the series to death, but now I see that I'm apparently wrong for doing so.
