A creature so hideous, it appalls.
With crooked teeth and bulbous eyes,
It’s not a sight for the weak or wise.
Its skin is rough and covered in slime,
A grotesque sight that’s hard to define.
It scurries about on twisted limbs,
Leaving fear in the hearts of men.
Its breath is foul, a rancid stench,
A smell so putrid, it makes you clench.
Its voice is a growl, a guttural sound,
A noise that echoes all around.
The locals called him the Gremlin, and he was known for his mischievous ways and his knack for getting into trouble. No one knew much about him, except that he was quite small, never ventured outside at night, and had a fondness for sweets.
One day, a young girl named Sarah stumbled across him while she was out walking in the woods. She was immediately taken by the Gremlin's mischievous grin and large, expressive eyes. Sarah decided to take him home with her and keep him as a pet.
Sarah soon learned that the Gremlin was not your average pet. He had an intelligence far beyond that of a typical animal and could understand human language. She taught him how to play games and talk, and they soon became the best of friends.
