1. There should be a skip all dialogue option for second playthroughs.
2. There needs to be a pay to play the dlc without having to replay the whole main story

This game is a nightmare. Everything about it is terrible. First from the fact that it's dark and there is no way to adjust the brightness, so I need to use the dinky little torch. Which! I can't use with any other tool. Speaking of the other tools, they are in the very unhelpful tab button, which does not toggle and is the slowest thing to open up and use. Snails breed faster than it takes to select a tool. Each one feeling like a mistake to even use.

There is no incentive to make things look pretty, because it only matters that the object is placed down, not even rotated. And that is another nightmare. Why is the rotate button "O" and "P"? My fingers have to dance across the keyboard to rotate an object slightly in the wrong direction.

And stairs! Stairs! I spent 20 minutes rebuilding this two story house, only to find out that stairs were the reason why the house was not ready. So, why even give me stairs if I can't use them? There is no incentive to make the houses look like something other than wooden blocks. And the roofs. Just kill me. They don't snap the right way around--if they snap at all. They look terrible and there is no option to make them out of straw. Ya know, like these kinds of houses would have had.

Every second of this game was torture. I played it only for the shiny trophies and even then I can't bring myself to play it for more than a few minutes. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to even play this garbage of a game.

The only saving grace is that the sun will implode and this game will be vaporized from all existence. But knowing my luck, there is already a copy of it in Hell

Photo mode is mandatory in order to get certain rewards. It shouldn't be. Photo mode is only good for that one tutorial that explains that there is such a thing as photo mode and then you never touch it again. Not as it is, that you have to do it 50 times in order to get all the rewards! And what is the point of photo mode anyway when I have a screen cap mode on steam? Pointlessly pressing "P" permits pressure 'pon performance previews.

I've only played a few hours of this and I think comparing it to Subnautica is wrong. This game is more like Dark Souls; it will kick you in the teeth if you get too full of yourself.

It's certainly funny if you enjoy that tongue in cheek sort of humor, where the game doesn't take itself too seriously. Your AI suit will do all of the talking and makes quips about everything. But sometimes, I was too focused on a task to really pay attention to what the suit was saying and just tuned it out. Which ain't good when it supplies most of the jokes.

At the point where I am, I'd say its an alright game if you enjoy hard survival.

Islanders.

I love this game. It's a mix of city building, Jenga, and Tetris. And it's all on a point bases system. The best part of this game is how many of the buildings are introduced slowly to give that sort of organic feel to expanding your city. It's a very relaxing game, perfect to zone out, put on a podcast, and just build.

The only downside is that the controls are a bit wonky and there's not a lot of realism. You don't have to set up streets, or water, or public works, or any of the finer details in running a city. But it's kinda okay that it doesn't do that. It's an interesting experience, but there might be a lack of replay-ability, as it gets that sort of samey feel. But as a once a day thing, it's superb.

All in all, I'd give this game a 7/10. It's relaxing and fun if you like that minimalist style. If you're looking for something more realistic and in depth, you might look elsewhere.
