Shadow of the Erdtree is a great DLC, no matter if your character is level 700 or 110 you will struggle if you do not go exploring, that being said it is not impossible to do it without the new empowering system. Exploring is incentivized by giving you the new upgrade materials which make the DLC easier and the many great hidden bosses that you will miss if you do not thoroughly explore each location. Also I have not experienced any performance issues while playing the DLC even though my outdated PC. While yes the DLC is hard it is nowhere near as hard as everyone is making it out to be so do not let that scare you off of the DLC!

Great game, love the open world aspect of it and how the world encourages you to explore the world and doesn't force you to stay on one set path, the story is much more laid out for the player than in the other soulsborne games, lovely npcs and story. The difficulty is greatly balanced to still give the satisfaction of overcoming a obstacle, Radahn was hard af but I somehow managed to kill him which probably gave me more satisfaction finally seeing him die (Pre-nerf). Highly reccomended if you don't mind the difficulty and love the soulsborne series.

Quitting this after 3000+ hours. Au revoir Hunt, 'tis was a long and enjoyable time I spent with you partner. Many ups and downs but this might just might be an all time low. I'll see you around partner.
