DON'T BUY THIS DLC! It's nothing but hot garbage trust me. I bought it when it was on sale and it's honestly a mixed bag for me and for others. There's honestly a lot to hate about it, like it's not great but also not that terrible either. First, the new "Deathwish" mode is an alright concept given the brutal, challenging missions you have to achieve in order to progress further. Most of them are really lazy and unfair as they're either annoying speedrun challenges or the same levels but buffed to an extreme. There's also dumb restrictions (bonuses) to each objective that makes it even more challenging and almost impossible to pull off. Like I love a good challenge, but this is just ridiculous. I honestly don't know what went into the developers minds when they made this. The bosses (also buffed) have like the worst and laziest attacks just to add to the difficult factor of this new mode, it's more infuriating and tedious than challenging. Like I'm halfway through this new mode and I'm already suffering, and you shouldn't either.
A few positives I had was the new chapter, given it wasn't perfect since it's fairly short, but it looks pretty good in terms of design but navigation was a little wonky. Also most of the chapter is just filler nonsense, nothing really interesting. Another pro is that some of the Deathwish challenges are fairly decent and fun, including the community rifts which is a lot of fun to complete!
Overall this is a poor excuse of a DLC and shouldn't be bought by people who are easily frustrated like me. If you're a masochist or just love crazy challenges, then be my guest and buy this. Everyone else, stay the peck away from this DLC!

Whoa, this game was everything I'd hoped it would be! I was very hyped for its full release, and now that I've bought it, I'm very impressed with how it turned out! It had an amazing and heartwarming story about acceptance through well-adapted area, includinh fun and upbeat, rhythmic boss battles! There were a couple a bugs I found but that for sure didn't ruin the overall experience I've had playing this, it's surely a recommend from me for anyone who loves this pixelated artstyle and challenging rhythm battles! The boss fights further on get progressively much harder and insane, but luckily you don't need a good score to advance. The replay values for those bosses allows for motivation to keep trying! Overall, definitely a fantastic and fun game and I sure hope this gets more popular!

This game was honestly an incredible experience for me, this underrated gem deserves more attention! The characters, the story, even the concept is so well done! I highly recommend! ;)
