Alright, for now, this is the best chapter compared to all the previous ones. The guy who decided to use the lookout and park as the main location is a genius. No, really, it's not often that developers understand what kind of setting to choose. This game has voice acting and some funny activities, such as checking the surroundings with binoculars and figuring out who is spying on you. Throughout the game, you work as a fire lookout guy who's just been transferred to a new area, which only increases the atmosphere. As a real-life person, you also don't know where you are, and that allows you to interact with the character's feelings more. The idea that you don't get to know much about the antagonist in the game—nor understand anyone's motives—sucks. The only chapter where it was somewhat explained was Carlson's house, but that chapter was very boring overall and the motive was very boring and not deep.

I will give it a 7.5/10, and if you consider the price, the developers should probably increase the playthrough time, as it feels like you should play for at least two hours just to avoid getting a refund on Steam (no offense, but if you've finished the game, why not?). There's also a new chapter that was released in September 2024. I'll try the new one soon, though I've heard it's not as good as this one. Anyway, thanks for reading my review! Comment if you want to add ideas or argue with me.

This is the second chapter of this franchise, and it's much better. It has a better atmosphere, and during the game, we, as the character, get into some unpleasant situations that anyone could find themselves in. The plot itself is not as boring as the first game, but again, I don't get to know the characters enough (as most of them just appear as strangers, and we don't get the opportunity to know them better). The developers didn’t provide voice acting in the game, so throughout the game, you have to read, which sucks because if the characters were at least able to speak, the feeling of being in real life would have been enhanced. The final grade is a little bit above average: 5.9/10.

Very similar to the original chapter, you now have the opportunity to go outside and buy food instead of cooking it at home. I know I should probably talk about whether it's scary or not, but NO, it's not. I play these games for the atmosphere and to understand the kind of stories the developers want to tell, but once again, the story is boring. There’s only one story detail that adds some variety: you get one piece of important and interesting information about a character by reading it in a browser. It’s not optional; you’ll read it anyway, but the whole plot remains very dull. While the developers managed to add some variety, such as going outside and getting to know the characters (although only one is interesting), even that character doesn't physically appear in the game. So, my final grade is 4/10.

I don't want to give it a negative review as it's free, but compared to all other chapters, this is very bad in terms of keeping the player engaged. It has a lot of real-life tasks such as cooking and opening the house, which in one case is very atmospheric, as it makes you feel like it's not a game. However, at the same time, the gameplay is really bad; it's boring. The story itself doesn't have a strong background, and we don't get an understanding of the plot. We're introduced to other characters, but only through text via your phone, which is really disappointing, guys. But it's free...

I know it may be unfair, but the game is very damn boring. No, really, at the start of the game, all I needed to do was just run over to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lighthouse. During this scene, I was listening to the most boring story about how the main narrator created this monster (Which I was fiighting during the run) in his mind so he could use it in his horror/fantasy book. After a lot of runtime and killing a bunch of enemies, I simply appeared on a boat, where I waited for around 20 minutes while talking to some old folk. After all, the gameplay was just so boring, and the characters weren't that interesting. I decided that this ♥♥♥♥ is not my sort of game. No, really, I finished Heavy Rain and almost finished Beyond Two Souls. Both of these games are older, or at least released close to the date Alan Suck was released, and both of these games, even considering that they are old, brought me a ton of emotions, and I had fun due to the variety of endings and atmosphere these games have (even though I haven't finished Beyond Two Souls, which I am planning to).
