Atlas is an Early Access game, which means that it is still in the development phase. In my opinion, Ark was a testing ground to see how many people their servers can hold at any given time as well as a chance to see how the players would enjoy and progress the game themselves through various mods. The mods that were created by players gave the developers an idea of how the players would change the game play to suit their style and to see which style would be more popular then flip it; in their own way, to Atlas for a more enjoyable version. It might be "just an ARK re-skin" at this current moment, but everyone needs to keep in mind that there is so much more potential for Atlas.
There was one thing that bothered me; and the majority of other players. With all of the excitement for the games release, the timing was poor. The multiple release delays ended up having a negative impact on the game; however, if it were not for the delays, the game would have released and been unplayable. The delays were for a reason and players need to understand that when a game is released in Early Access, there will be bugs that need to be fixed and can cause delays.
If this game is given the chance it needs to succeed, it will be one of the most epic games I think the community of gamers has seen in a good while. With the multitude of potential Atlas offers and the amazing job on the overall artistry of the game, I will give it a 10/10. For the bit of lack in communication with the launch and the multiple delays, I'll give it 4/10 only because it could have been handled in a better manner. (That goes for the community of gamers bashing the game without giving it the chance it needs due to being impatient and immature.) Overall, after factoring in a few other factors, I rate this game at a 7/10 at this current moment and I would recommend it for everyone. Just keep in mind when purchasing this game that it is Early Access and NOT the completed version!
