The base game is excellent. Unfortunately, the dlc is locked behind repetitive grinding and the games mechanics are watered down for single player.

This game sucks. It does not function on modern systems at all. It has no controller support. I spent 5 minutes trying to get into a freakin car. The driving mechanics are atrocious. My wireless controller disconnected , and the game froze. I tried to get out of the game and couldn't. 5 minutes into the game I got a windows alert, which minimized the game and then the game locked my computer. I had to restart windows just so I could close the ..

This game has a serious problem with the player base. 99.9% of all matches are against players who sit there drooling all over their digital cards using up multiple time outs. Matches against mono green decks with all their mana tapped and no triggered abilities, go to cast a spell , it sits there on the stack for multiple time outs. YAWN. Opponents missing lethal, losing match , then forcefully quitting the game so you sit there waiting 5 minutes for them to lose. YAWN. Mill spells that for some reason, use up all my game time despite clicking "resolve all" then losing the match when i'm about to hit for lethal because timer expires YAWN. It's 10 minutes into the match and the opponent has just decided who goes first and plays a land. Really getting tired of this bs. Wizards is doing nothing to punish these pathetic low lifes either. Literally, every game played is like this. All day, every day. Never ends, Constant purposeful time wasting. I'm done. Every new set that comes out, I come back and try to enjoy this game, then after a month end up quitting until the next set. See you next set. Look forward to screaming hello your go all day then.

The game has some issues which appear to be resolved by disabling hyperthreading, turning off vysync and setting opengl to triple buffering (or nvidia equivalent). It's unclear whether you have to do all of these things or only some of them. For the record, I tried a combination of all of them and performance was obviously affected while streaming due to hyperthreading kind of being a necessity. I then re-enabled hyperthreading but kept the graphics setting changes and it appeared to work. What's unclear about this, is I had already killed the resource intensive dragons causing all the lag.

Either way, an enjoyable game in itself.

if you're expecting this to be the same as the og seperate ways and turned off by the $15 price tag, don't be. It's not like that at all. It's a completely fleshed out, well made and proper expansion pack. There's actual boss fights and new content. There's none of that fighting vergil as vergil while dante's cutscenes play nonsense.

It's good and Capcom has done a great job overall with this RE4 remake.

As a side note, after the dlc installs, you may need to restart your pc as it gets stuck loading the title screen for some reason. Restarting the pc fixes the issue.

This is a metroidvania with souls like mechanics and quirky anime girls you may or may not care about. There are outfits and items you collect that benefit you (such as a swimsuit so you can cast shock while standing in water without dying and oven mitts that protect you from fire). You start off with low hp (20 total). You recover your hp by using items that work like estus flasks, so you can die while healing. There are status debuffs, such as bleeds, that can instantly kill you.
The level of difficulty and the time spent playing this game is mainly reliant on which difficulty you are playing (there are a bunch of them). IF you are playing on the default difficulty, be prepared to basically die all the time.
the game is not "short". It's the same length as your typical metroidvania, and said length is based off game mode/skill/ familiarity.

Having never played this before, I just downed the first boss and made it to the second boss in just under 2.5 hours. Most of this time was spent dying constantly.

Fun game. A bit quirky with it's themes, but fun none the less.

Heard it's getting delisted..wonder why.

THere are no per table achievements and thus not really much incentive to play this version of the game.
