Meh. I already have 15 years of WoW under my belt, so you are going to have to be a bit more enticing than this.

Ran through to level 10.
Here are some good things I liked about it

Dual titles, something I begged blizz for for years and still haven't got.
Animation and Story is superb so far.
Chat restrictions a plus, no slitting of wrists from trolls.
Game mechanics are great.
Undub :)



It is a good game, just don't feel like getting into another MMO with half my life already absorbed in one.

fyi, for those of you who can't tell, this is not a Japanese game. It is a korean game. I like Korean Anime just as much as I liked avatar.. ie, not much at all.

The bulk of your enjoyment of this game will come from playing FMS (like wise with thief 2). The base game itself contains missions not present in the original. The thieves guild mission is so poorly designed it made me quit the game for 3 years :( LOL. If you are only interested in playing the base game, then you should download gold2dark so you can patch the game back to it's original state

Does not contain cloud saves. COntrols also are in no way similar to that of later titles . Clunky camera, bad targetting mechanic. No move lists (just look up the wiki) You don't get the HD port of DMC SE that the swtich got. The OG games are just very archaic, so if you are fan of DmC , DMC4 and DMC5, this might not be for you.

IF you buy this, you're basically only getting 2 games, because the second game is a load of trash that is not even worth playing..it's just bad.
The port of DMC3 SE does not appear to be an actual pc port. Appears to be an emulated version. It's best to buy this one seperately (capcom still sells it on steam for 19.99) though it won't have achievements.

Overall, I'd say the sole reason for this being made was to cater to fans of this franchise. IT did that well.

The game is great. their are issues with porting found in cutscenes.
No support for skipping scenes making speed runs frustrating
Auto save feature is very redundant.
Forced to play game in only one language.

However, all these issues, except the auto save, are resolved using Untitled Project X.

The english dub of this game sucks. No other way to describe it, it is just plain garbage, the worst final fantasy translation ever. Characters are made to say things they are not even saying quite frequently, stupid dumb puns that don't even make sense etc etc. When talking to gino at one point, the english subtitles read something along the lines of "fagja;gkja;gja;kgja;gja;gjajg;" for no darn reason, not sure if this was censorship or just plain ludicrousy..but it's there. I am use to the differences in foreshadowing, narrative etc, and understand that somethings cannot directly translate from Japanese to English, but this game just goes beyond that.

Monsters often stop fighting you mid battle.
Your party often gets left behind when entering a dungeon, leaving you by yourself until reload.
Game frame skips quite often.

Lara croft randomly shows up in Prompto's photos without explanation..not sure if this is a glitch.



does not have "full controller support" controller often glitches out, switching from xbox 360 layout, to generic to ps4. often doesn't work at all for no valid reason. On top of this, a keyboard is required to enter the name of your Chocobo, so that right there is in itself not "full controller support".

terra wars quest is supposed to be replayable under the special menu, but is not. just sits there in your quest log labelled as incomplete.

not sure i like how you can download weapons off steam that give your character stat boosts far beyond their level...

Asides from all this, if you can moderately understand japanese to the point you can play the game in the origional language with some minor assistance from subtitles

then this is by far the best final fantasy game ever made.
