In a quiet, unassuming town, there was a legend that parents told their children to keep them in line. It was the story of Sinappimies, the Mustard Man—a figure who was neither entirely human nor fully a monster, but something in between.
Thy said Sinappimies was once a man who loved mustard more than anything else. He would slather it on every meal, even on things that shouldn't have mustard on them. But his obsession grew, twisting into something dark.
As the legend goes, Sinappimies made a terrible pact to forever be surrounded by his beloved mustard, but at a terrible cost. Now, he's cursed to roam, seeking out anyone who has even a trace of mustard on them.
Children who didn't finish their food, especially if it had mustard on it, were warned to be careful. If they left a bit too much on their plate, Sinappimies would know.
