An easy recommend because it's a nice, short, sweet, game. It has a very unique and enjoyable atmosphere that is cute and a bit horrific, and is just fun. It's simplistic and it doesn't have the time to do anything grand or overtly explosive, but what it does do is a great example of indie development. As I come to love short-form games more and more, I am more and more impressed by how much they do with no chance of the player getting bored or repulsed. This game doesn't have enough time to be bad. The music, the characters, the sprites, the story, and the absolutely magnificent imagery, all work really well together to make a game I can easily recommend. Very solid experience.

Szymanski not only never misses, but he never gets worse either. The Music Machine is essentially similar (very meaningfully so) to the previous fantastic title The Moon Sliver, but does it all better. A better story, better visuals, better place-to-place gameplay, better horror, and just a better time overall. It's just so good.
It's short form horror and it's cheap. If you're looking for a short-time-investment but very tense and conceptually horrifying game, this one kills it. I can't recommend it enough on that grounds, and there are a lot of times in the game when I was absolutely rooted to my spot, unable to move. Szymanski is masterful at always making you afraid not of what is happening, but of what could, and it's ingenious that he does that in games where you cannot die or come to harm. You only observe, and what you observe will chill you to the core. The Music Machine was fantastic, and is easily one of the best stories Szymanski has ever done.

Szymanski just does not miss. Yeah, his bigger projects like Dusk and Iron Lung are great, sure, but at the heart of his catalogue are these collections of minute, subtle short-form horror games that just do so well. Fingerbones and Iron Lung are the peak, but The Moon Sliver does just as good a job at not only holding your attention and being interesting, but having a very compelling narrative that makes you want to know more.
As someone who usually hates walking sims, this one makes you forget what it is. As you traverse the map, never certain of the rules or direction the game will take you, growing more and more fearful of what happens next, every aspect from the sound design to the (sometimes a bit iffy) dialogue just holds you. It's not a skin-crawler so to speak, as I found myself most enraptured by the story itself and uncovering it, but the horror is there, as you try to unravel a mystery that may determine your fate. And it sticks the landing! Unlike what I felt was a pretty mundane ending to something like Iron Lung, it's done so much better here and any scares are backed by the entire game's experience. There's nothing cheap or ♥♥♥♥♥♥, it's all done very richly and sincerely, and I heartily recommend.

It's difficult to write a review for this game because I truly don't know how someone would describe how good it is.
There is very, very, very little wrong with the game, and I truly think it's one of the closest things to perfect I've ever played. Everything is just done so well.
The music? Ethereal
The levels? Outstanding
The characters? Fun and numerous
The gameplay? Unmatched
The power fantasy? One of the single greatest mechanics in gaming, ever.
And I HATE roguelikes. I find the majority of them boring, uninspired, and dry, but Risk of Rain 2 just does it differently. The level design and base combat and music, even when they're at their worst, work together in such perfect harmony that they become incomparable again. And the amount you can DO, the amount of secrets and hidden tricks and extra gamemodes, oh god it's glorious. You could spend thousands of hours and not get bored.
And everything you can do? Is made funner tenfold by multiplayer. Yes, that's true for every game, but the multiplayer capacity is truly outstanding. A massive, massive step up from Risk Of Rain 1, and absolutely a game worth playing, 10/10, unequivocally recommended.

A great premise, well executed. Could it be better? Yes. But that's what the sequel's for!
Kindergarten uses it's time effectively and wisely. It combines a fun puzzle loop with a fantastically shocking narrative. The characters are fun, the choices and storylines are pretty interesting, and the game is doubtlessly very very well put together. Like any choice-based story, more could have been done to make it as variable as possible, but working at the scale it does, it's no issue. I had fun, the game is cheap, and it's a solid purchase. Easy recommend.

Short, sweet, cheap, and surreal. What's not to love?
The game gives you this brilliant sense of confusion and anxious horror, it's very visceral without actually doing anything bad. It does so well at making you feel out of place and confused in a good way. There's little here, and as such there's little that is bad about it. A good experience, no doubt, however for those who experience visual novel fatigue or dissatisfaction with the genre, you might wanna sit this one out.

Honestly this is probably the best POSTAL game yet. Yeah, the first two will always be classics, and the second is a community favourite, but the effort, stylistics, and gameplay in this one are a stark departure from the jank and edginess. It's just a fun game, not simply because of the great gameplay or constant humour, but it's so light-hearted and never takes itself seriously. It knows it's a Postal game, but does a great job in being a very new type of one.
It clearly (and honestly) takes inspiration from recent shooters, namely Titanfall 2 and Doom Eternal, but also draws hilariously from myriad other elements of pop culture. It's topical, which does make it a bit dated, but you'll enjoy it anyway. It's fun, chaotic, and very, very Postal.
There are one or two definite drawbacks, though. The easiest is the ammo system, which leaves you out of ammo for large sections, usually very annoyingly. The movement and gunplay could have a little smoothing and polish as well, but as it stands it's still a very fine game. Every title has issues, the Postal series being no stranger to them, but this one is very, very good and I highly, highly recommend it.

First up, it's a parody of the hyper-pretentious-ish-yet-great game The Witness. If you loved TW, you'll love this. If you hated it, you'll also love this. The comedy is there, and it's honestly done just so well. It doesn't have a tenth of the gameplay time as TW, which is entirely in it's favour, and it's more than willing to go all out in taking the piss. As an avid piss taker, this game pleases me greatly. Give it the time it deserves, and you won't be disappointed.
If you haven't played The Witness, you'll probably like it anyway. Doesn't matter though. It's free!

Don't be fooled by the play time, I recorded a few hours while offline. This game is solid. For the price tag, anything that isn't a bitcoin miner is usually worth a shot, and this is no exception. It's a very good intro movement shooter with an emphasis on weapon switching, and what it tries to do, it does fairly well. It's a solid B game, which in no way is an indictment on it. I had fun, and I absolutely will play further.
PROS - Good concept, and a really great take on combining dungeon crawling with titanfall-ish movement shooting. The randomised gun concept has the potential to be absolutely awesome, and the gunplay isn't bad at all.
CONS - The flagship element of the game, being gun variation, is not as good as it could be. More exotic and interesting weapon effects (spider gun works super well) would go a hell of a long way. Equally, the level design and enemy variation is fairly mid uninteresting. All it means is it needs more polish.

Look, it's an easy recommend. I had fun, i enjoyed my time, and it's free. Give it a crack!

You know... I bought this as a joke because I played it as a kid, but it was just as fun as I remembered. The graphics could be better, and it's definitely made for children (no ♥♥♥♥), but the game was good. I had fun, fun I wasn't expecting to have. If you like the Lego games, this one is great, although it's not really something to do if you're looking for a challenge. I don't know why I bothered 100%-ing it, but I did, and I can honestly say it was a solid 6/10 experience. Then again, I'm 19 and played it when I was 11 the first time.
That being said, there are a BRUTAL amount of bugs. Not Cyberpunk levels, but to the degree whereby it prohibited me for a while from getting 100%. That being said, some of them are real fun to mess around with. Honestly? Enjoy what you can. It's a kids game. Kids who like fantasy or LOTR will like. Harsh recommend.
