Despite the mixed reviews for Dead Money, I really enjoyed the core experience and difficulty of this game. It's a really interesting, unique, and (fun?) experience that dabbles in mechanics that are kind've unusual for the fallout experience.

The pros: I really, really, love the atmosphere of this game and the enemies/world design. It's a little creepy and stressful and reminds me of like older survival horror games. While the enemies are a bit lackluster and one note I still find their design to be overall positive and your first encounter with them is such a highlight especially when you've got nothing on you. The lack of medicinal aid adds to the survival horror-like enemies.
The main villain, the NPC's, the overall goal of this dlc is really well done unless you're a dumbass like me and decided an all strength-only character was the smartest idea to go through these dlc's with. The amount of speech checks I either failed or straight up ignored kind've tainted the experience but who really cares when you can two shot guys with a bear trap.

The cons: The alarms, oh my god, whoever designed that last bit area before you rob the bank overdid the alarms to the point it actually ruined what was initially an interesting concept. At first I was like, "Oh this is cool to kinda figure out." After the 800th time doing it (especially when it's a locked alarm" is disorienting.
The back and forth zig zagging is so annoying and over stays it's welcome, even though I liked it and had fun for the most part I don't see myself returning to this dlc to do that all over again.

At the end of the day it's a very interesting and different approach to fallout that I can praise for it's faults and I'd recommend everyone play it at least once.

It's one of those games, that really digs deep inside your soul. It's beautifully kept intact by a well made development team, and they have created a modern day masterpiece, although ridden with nothing to do and just one odd 3rd person lady. It still captures my attention everyday, with smooth graphics, and unique gameplay. Do not buy this game, 1/10. If you buy this game I will come to your house and spinkick your mother. Please refrain from replying to this because I will not accept arguments, if you ever EVER talk to me on this forum about this game, I will. Once. Again. Kick your moms ass. ps mommy milkers! 6/10 could use more polishing. personally I dont like the boob phsyciscs, and honestly once again im gonna fight your mother.
