This game is like drinking absinth.-It makes you feel good but it burns your throat. I've Jump-Slided My Ass Off and ShatterDived both my mouse and keyboard several times over, Im still looking for my lost Ctrl since 1 week.
The great community is what fuels my desire to keep playing as i'm able to compare myself with others and find a place in the dominance hierarchy within the game. -Unlike irl where i'm completely unable to defend myself because both my wrists hurt from smashing into my desk over and over.

10/10

Parkour: the new freshly made parkour system is not only creative but also different from the first game, what’s new is wall running, monkey-bar swinging, and so much more!, sure the jumps in the game are a lot less realistic due to the fact that we can jump 6 feet and it also feels like the jumps have no gravity, I love how the game now kind of forces you to parkour your way to safety since they removed the ability to sprint, just like in mirrors edge the more parkour you do the more momentum you gain, I love how they also made Parkour a part of combat as well, it’s pretty fun to stagger an enemy then vault over his shoulder and drop kick his friend xD, so the parkour gets a 8/10 from me.

Combat: the combat has changed a lot in the way that your melee weapons no longer can be repaired, once it’s broken your character throws them away, but no weapons is no problem because in Dying light 2 the world around you is a weapon, you can as an example pick up a glass bottle and smash it against an enemy’s head, etc, and this time You can finally parry attacks, if you parry at the right time you stagger the enemy, leaving them vulnerable, I also love that this time, the game actually makes you feel like a hunter by day, and a prey at night, nighttime gameplay is intense and very cool, not only do the infected become stronger, but they also become smarter, no like seriously, they will try to drive you into a corner so they can attack you more aggressively, stealth in the game isn’t the best but it’s there if you know how to use it properly,

New: Immunity: in DL2 you can’t be in darkness forever, since I’m DL2 you have something called an “Immunity meter” this goes down when you are in dark zones (that’s all I’m saying I don’t wanna spoil too much)

Story: the main campaign is not as advanced as I thought it would be but it doesn’t mean it’s bad, it’s good and enjoyable, but I have to say I highly dislike how some of the NPCS movements feel stiff and out of sync, also, some missions feel like they were torn out of Dead island, (you’ll know when you get there) but other than that the game is amazing, and absolutely worth every penny!,

OH also, the infected from first game: Biter, goon, Viral, demolisher, etc got a makeover, they look super cool now, also introducing new zombies in DL2, some of them listed below:

Banshee, howler, Drowner, Revenant, Corruptor, Charger, spitter.

Final score:

9’5/10
