I could only see you by locking on but otherwise you were invisible. It most probable a desynch glitch. It happend to me mostly in ER but chances its also present in ds3. I think it has something to do with latency and distance between players.

I told him to just play the level while i just stayed back and fough you but i guess he wanted to coop throught the level. Not that he needed the help tho, i know the guy and he is really good at pve ( he did a butt load runs. No upgrade club, just starting class items without changing the ashes war and fights endgame bosses on a regular basis.) I think he just really wanted to coop throught the level because he did it solo so many times and even if you roll a turd around it you can still have fun if you're with good enough friends with someone.

You know you can just play the level, right? You don't HAVE to just stand there when an invader comes into your world. You can totally fight the PvE AND the invader. That's kinda how the game was made to be played.

I was the phantom. Friend who was the host wanted to coop, got bored of the invasion and commited suicice by lobster.

imagine needing bhs, starlight shards, rotten dumplings and ps straight swords to win againt two regular players.
