The game is quite good and has enough content for a single player/co-op game, however there is not enough content for a live service game in my opinion. I recomend to wait until they add some meaningfull progression system and/or purchase it while it is on sale.

Edit: With the new content that has been added to the game, if the DSS with the traitor barrage, the planetry modifier as a tacticall abillity is the best think that the developers were able to come up with over 2 months, then the biggest concern should be what horrors they will come up with next time.

(But that is just my humble opinon, maybe they will make comeback or something who knows? Even though at this point it feels more like a wishful thinking I guess.)
