This game has been all round a trip for me, but most of it has been bad, due to the original controls being really bad, and having there being no decent control scheme for keyboard I can find to actually enjoy it. And combine that with how easily the game lags, I can just fall off stage in a blink of an eye right from standing on it just because a tiny bit of the internet was used by something else. In other words, this game requires way too much internet. I also have been many times called trash or garbage or other rude things when I lose, and that makes me furious, so much so that I usually just leave the match every loss and not even get my gold or exp, because it's worth it to avoid harassment. Not to mention how unbearably unbalanced it is, people can easily do insanely frustrating things that I CANNOT stop in any way at all, mostly the katars, lance, and scythe have been the main culprits of unbearable cancerous gameplay. Only SOMETIMES do I actually enjoy myself playing it, and it's just not worth it overall, I really wish I could refund my 1645 hours of enduring the suffering of this game, but I'm done for now, that's for sure.

This game is really good, it's actually quite hard to survive. I can only manage to survive through learning and constantly being on the search for more efficient ways to get food and water and balance my sleep for when it's dark and more dangerous. I look forward for the co-op mode, to some people it would seem twice as easy, but to others it's twice the trouble.

This game is amazing, it has all sorts of activities to do, and is quite entertaining to survive in. At some points the game can be an absolute comedy...

There are some lag/ping issues sometimes though, there is anywhere from a ½-10 second lag in any server you don't host, so it makes it impossible to fight perfectly usually.

Also, this game has a surprisingly huge learning curve, so it's mega hard to get into the game if you haven't gotten good at the original Don't Starve yet.

The public multiplayer is usually absolutely horrendous, as most hosts just completely abandon all their players without regard, and some literally randomly kick you for no reason. Whenever I host a server I'm basically never joined too. Because of this, the game has basically become "Don't Starve Alone" unless I happen to have a friend available to play with.

However, this game is quite the unique survival game, and has somehow managed to keep my interest throughout the years I've had it. I'm astonished at how it can still be just as fun when you know nearly everything as when you're finding out new stuff.
