Call to arms is a nice transition to the newer RTS's coming out, like Gates of Hell which is an expansion to this game. This kind of game was my dream growing up, so I didn't hesitate to get it.

Base game is good but where this game really shines is the mods!

Want star wars? Done
Halo? It's there
WW2? They have it

Endless possibilities with an amazing modding community making the game more realistic, or Sci fi.

The editor is arguably the greatest part of the game and delivers endless hours of play

I must say that I enjoyed Easy Red 1, and was quite contempt with it. While I though it was cool and fun to play for a bit, it was still clunky and unfinished. I didn't see it going anywhere either, as even if the developer added new mechanics, the game still felt a bit off and unpolished. Then to my surprise he began work on Easy Red 2. And while I did not expect much, I kept hope that the game would be good.

And boy am I pleased. The game is in it's early stages and barely has any content. Though it's still a blast to play. Guns feel better, movement feels better, and the overall look of the game improved drastically.

It's rare that I find a developer as dedicated as this one. A few games come to mind when I think of, one man, working on a game, making constant improvements. Ravenfield, and Rise of Liberty, Check them out if you haven't. And the amount of dedication put into this game is astonishing. The constant updates and changelogs, added features and weapons, and bug fixes. The developer listens to the players and takes their feedback.

I am beyond excited to see where this game will be within the next few months.

Edit: It got even better

Lost all of my army until all i had was an infantry against two of their tanks, and anti air cannon, and 10 infantry. I wiped out every one, until i got to the last infantry and was blown up by a grenade.

This game is an absolute blast. The fast pace action is made even better with the one shot kills, making it super satisfying. The spawns are not too bad and you never have to walk very far. Community is fairly big and there is always one server. The trench fighting is insane. Totally worth the money

Overall I think that the game is solid and has lots of content. I've been waiting for this game ever since I watched Node's video on it, and when I finally bought it I wasn't disappointed. It has a lot of playability and when you get a friend its even better. I do expect many more updates to the game and from what I've seen they're going to continue improving the game. Don't have much time on it yet so this could all be premature

The game is really solid as it is, with lots of content in the vanilla version. But then there are sooo many mods on the workshop and other mod sites. After you think all the reaplay ability is gone then you find mods, tons of them. So overall a great game and an awesome community and worth the money, but still waiting for bannerlord lol

Great game! but its a bit anoyng sometimes because of all the dlcs, they are really expensive even on sale. but amazing game, lots of mods and servers out there

i love game one of my favorite total wars but it only worked for about a couple weeks but now it just opens and i cant see the game but i see the game cursor i would recommend this game but wish it worked for me
