No words, only love for this game

This game went from wall hugging simulator to mimics jumpscare mansion (atleast before the patch that decreased the amount of mimics).
Joke aside, this game is great and boasts a world full of mysteries and interesting characters. Be it friendly NPCs, not so friendly monsters or even long dead characters you only read about in books and notes that are found all over the place.
The exploration of this games many areas is handled exceptionally well. There are lots of items, weapons and spells to be found, which gives of a great feeling of discovery and rewards those, that are willing to take the extra step in their search for secrets. Altough some of those can get a bit cryptic and specific, so definitly be prepared for a few trips into the wiki and community forums, if you plan on discovering all there is.
While combat in this game is more on the simpler side, it is more than enough to keep the player on their toes and in most cases also acts as a great support to the atmosphere and general environmental story.
The sound design helps with that as well. Every music track helps to make the world feel even more alive. Be it by giving just a general ambience, conveying the scale and motif of the current environment or just helping you realise, that you are not alone... take that last one as you want.

This game will throw you right back into a long bygone era of videogames. Or in my case, give you a new expierence that leaves you wanting more. So I'd say you get something out of this game, whether you played games like Kingsfield and Shadow Tower before or not.
While it's style and gameplay might not be for everyone, it can't hurt to give it a try, for the relativly low price it's being offered at.
