Cats! You get to find cats! This game and others like it has shown me my otherwise unknown love to click on a cat! And get an achievement! And hundred percent another game!

Okay, I will admit I only originally got into these games for the achievements, but now I have found that I genuinely love finding hidden cats (and other things). This series is one of the best hidden object series I have explored. The challenge is a good level and the art is great. Buy it on sale and you may also discover the deep, inner joy that is clicking on a hidden cat.

I have restarted playing this game three times using different accounts. I just could not stay away. I have moved onto the sequel, which is just as good, but the original will always have a special place in my heart. Unlike other mobile style card games, it does not fell pay-to-win, you can grow a decent collection grinding for free and still have fun.

The different deck archetypes were a joy to explore. The design is also really cute and there are usually players to match with online (on at least there was when I was playing and the sequel still has a decent sized player base). A must try if you love deck building and opening packs and finding broken combos. If you can't find players, Cards and Castles 2 is also free to play.

Such a chill and enjoyable building game. The music, sound design and gameplay loop gives a peaceful, low stress feeling I have not found with many other games. I enjoyed working towards all the achievements and never really felt like I was grinding. Placing each tile is so satisfying. The balance of planning and just working with what you get is finely tuned. It will be difficult to find a game to replace the experience of Dorfromantik.

Why did I spend so much time in this game? The gameplay loop is highly addictive. It has the 'just one more run' feel of good roguelikes. The achievements provide unique challenges. The mix of different characters and equipment makes runs feel different. Instead of a deck of cards, you upgrade a set of dice. The RNG can be grindy at times, but the UI is smooth and as I said the gameplay loop is enjoyable.

This game is so cute! I could walk around this world forever. Like Hollowknight, the combat is interesting enough to keep me engaged as I wonder around trying to figure out what to do next. A big draw of the game is the adorable game manual you piece together as you play.

The bosses are epic, but not too difficult. The difficulty scales well, the player can either figure out how to best use items and learn how to block in the style of souls-like games, or just grind if you can't be bothered. I know my playtime will be double or more that of a speedrunner, but the world is just so enjoyable to inhabit that this fact does not bother me, A must play for metroidvania fans or fans of classic Legend of Zelda games.

I love the fighting in Smash Bros but I really suck at it compared to anyone I play against. Spiritfall is the perfect solution to this as it is a solo roguelike with the combat style of Smash Bros. There is tons of replayability here as each weapon has a different style and feel. There are also several build archetypes to work towards, choosing one out of three choices among the upgrades on offer.

The difficulty of the game also scales well. I had the feeling of doing 'one more run' to try to find the perfect combo while at the same time feeling I was improving my mastery of the controls. A great game for fans of Dead Cells or other action roguelikes.

This game is slick as hell! It is one of those games I was immediately draw to just from seeing the trailer. The world, action and sound design creates an amazing action experience. It is the type of game you love to get better at and there is so much room to improve skills. Each weapon, level and enemy presents a new challenge.

If you loved the classic Tony Hawk games and also love a slick retro futuristic setting, you cannot go wrong with Rollerdrome!

I have played a lot of found object games, and this one has great art! The hints are funny and there are tons of online maps to explore. You can see DLC content playing online maps, which is great!

A fun game for a low price! The upgrade tree reminded me of Rogue Legacy and it was an engaging journey to navigate the upgrades. The game has some neat surprises. Low stress, watch things explode, collect some bits.

Nodebuster is a good time!

I love Balatro! Been playing deck-builders since Slay the Spire, but for me, Balatro has the best flow 'just one more run'. The challenges are fun if you are an achievement hunter.

There are many different types of decks to build. Sometimes built around a single Joker, sometimes the combo of two Jokers give the deck a new play style. Just like Slay the Spire, you need to respond to the boss Blinds, and sometimes the boss blind just wrecks your specific play style for that run.

Love Balatro. Committed to getting %100 even if the last two achievements take me another 150 hours.
