The most horrifying time loop scenario ever put into a videogame

One of the worst games I've ever played, if someone tells you this is good they are either blinded by nostalgia or are playing some kind of sick joke on you

- Enemies are either so similar to each other they aren't even worth mentioning or the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemy type you've ever seen
- Levels are extremely linear and monotonous making the game a complete chore to get through
- Guns have no punch to them making them feel like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ toys
- Movement sucks ♥♥♥♥, it feels like the floor of every level is covered in half a foot of molasses
- Tarot cards are rendered useless by making them only usable once per level, discouraging you from ever using them outside of boss fights

About all this game has going for it is that the levels look kinda cool, I have no idea what the people who hail this as some forgotten gem see in it outside of that
At least the former devs are making better things now

Avoid at all costs

this is a game that makes me wish that steam had a middle option, like maybe id recommend it

the story is quite engaging and interesting, though i thought it could have benefitted from the game being longer as it feels like it ends kind of suddenly
this game had help from the people who made amnesia: a machine for pigs and it shows, with the gameplay just feeling like a more bare bones amnesia (there isnt even a sanity mechanic in a game about lovecraftian horrors)
all in all its fine buts its not gonna change your life or anything
