The film has drawn criticism from some Holocaust educators for its factual inaccuracy, and emphasis on greater sympathy for the Nazi German family centred in the story, than for the Jewish victims of the Holocaust.
Because of that, I feel sad all the time and its hard for me to smile. lately, I started learning in American school. in the school they made me wear a name tag. I was furious and frightened, I tear off the name tag because it reminded me of the yellow stars the Nazis forced me to wear.
In school i met a girl named Suzy. Suzy had yellow hair and had a false smile. Suzy`s mom gave me her old dress, She didnt liked that. She feeds me like an animal behind bars. I couldn't stand it. I didnt feel safe. The Americans said we were safe, but I heard the same from the Germans, so i didnt believe that. I dont trust the Americans in any way. I do not trust people in her new surroundings. I am terrified of being taken away from the group because when people were separated by the Nazis, they disappeared.
