I love this game.

The main plot is quite enticing.
The two main characters have great banter with each other.
The visual imagery is often astounding.
The gameplay mechanics are simple and easy to use.
I can adopt a turtle.

The only big gripe I have is that Henry never officially meets Delilah. Or at least the player never gets to see them meet.

(It is also sometimes difficult figuring out where to go, but the game does a good job at redirecting lost players)

This story's main plot device, while very convenient in context of the story, is also quite interesting. Despite the embellishment on an otherwise rare and/or unlikely case, it was fun to go through each chapter and slowly learn about the true nature of the main characters.

Every other chapter alternates between detective/puzzle work and a chase or stealth sequence. The puzzles were good brain teasers, although I wish some of them didn't require the player to find the hint first before progressing the story, as was the case for some puzzles which didn't necessarily need plot driven hints for. While the chase/stealth sequences were built upon the same premise, it's clear that the devs did try to make those chapters with as much variation as they could. It was nice exploring a new environment for those.

Early in the game, there is a boss battle of sorts, which was very intriguing, but then there is nothing like that for the rest of the game. That part was different and a change of pace up to that point in the game, so I expected something similar to happen again, however the next part that could maybe be considered a "boss battle" did not feel like one.

It was difficult figuring out where to go sometimes.

The loading screen between chapters and after dying are also a bit long.

Overall, the game's story is very interesting, however the execution via the gameplay mechanics sometimes falters, but is mostly bearable.

An extremely fabulous game. The existential horror mixed in with the real horrific monsters to encounter and the incredibly horrifying but beautiful environment work together to make SOMA one of the best games to play.

Halo has always been a fun franchise to be a part of, and while Halo Infinite does have some bugs that need fixing, I recommend it if you're looking for a chill time. It is way more fun to play with friends.
