Really addicting when you first start up the game. Whenever I think about playing it, I don't always go play it cause it can easily chop away hours.

!There's spoilers in this, don't read what's marked with black if you don't wish to have parts spoiled!

Pros:
I personally love the grapics they're beautifully made. The game is a lot more than farming there's different kinds of quests you're able to do and hidden items. fx if you get the quest to find mayor lewis' lucky purple shorts you can save them and craft them into clothing using tailoring.

Different hats can also be gained by obtaining achievements or drop chance (Some are 0,01%.)

Some people also like special events, which there are in this game you're able to get giant crops only got a 1% chance of happening. there's also different cool cutscenes. that also don't happen very often, but that's the point!)

The game's got a nice multiplayer system. (Even though you can only be up to 4 players)

The game's not homophobic meaning you can marry the opposite gender.

If you have questions concerning the game they've got a "Stardew valley wiki" or you can ask at the forums for help (Or if you're loney for someone to play with)

Cons:

The achievements takes a long time and are boring. I suppose achievements are meant to be hard. But getting them will be very time consuming.

For an example if you try and get the "complete collection" achievement you'll have to redo/relog a lot of days to grind the same artifact spots on the map cause those only have 1% drop chance (or less).

Oh and some of the npc's change their personality to a great extent. fx shane even though he seems to have changed for the better goes back to moping around all day and going to the saloon. (basically he's gotten worse.)

Combat mechanics can be a bit tiring. Basically there is only a tiny window where the game actually recognizes where you want to swing your sword I think one tile around your sprite. If you click anywhere around your sprite that is not exactly within one tile of it the sword swing won't change direction.
