Really fun Vampire Survivors-esque game where you move around blasting aliens with a huge arsenal of guns. It's really fun, for the most part. The levels are well designed, theres great build variety between the four classes and dozens of weapons, and the gameplay loop is almost addictive. The problem comes down to the fact that it's a total grind fest, and overstays its welcome far too long. Replaying the same levels again and again to unlock minor upgrades and do the same quests ad nauseam is exhausting, and detracts from what could have been a 10/10 experience.

TL;DR: grind fest but fun

In all honesty, the only reason why I'm writing this review is so that I can point to it later and brag about how I found this gem of a game and watched it become one of the best indie titles ever.
Everything about this game oozes charm and handcrafted passion, and even if it is a little rough around the edges (which it is), it's jawdropping-ly good. Seriously, this is it. This is Rimworld-killer.
