After the latest update, the game continually crashes. Tons of people are talking about these issues and there has been no resolution. Cant recommend right now, if they do decide to make the game playable again, I will likely change my review, but right now, dont waste your money.

Used to like this game but cant recommend due to the game crashing before even getting to the title screen ever since their latest season update. I went through every possible step to attempt to resolve it, reinstalled multiple times on different drives, but the game just freezes upon opening every single time. It should be noted that my pc specs well exceed their requirements. Their support is absolutely horrible for the game and they will not help you in any way so youre on your own. I resorted to youtube and tried every fix under the sun, to no avail. I dont know how they managed to mess the game up to this extent, but it is sad to see because it was a very fun game and they are one of the few developers that put time into resolving their previously cheater ridden game. Not worth the download because you are at a huge risk of the game simply not working at all, and absolutely no one from their team to help resolve it. Theres a good chance youll be left dead in the water. Besides the game not functioning at all currently, like others have mentioned, the gear balance is relatively bad, but if youre a smart player and utilize grenades and your environment, you can minimize but never eliminate the imminent risk of being one shot. As someone with thousands of hours in games like escape from tarkov, the inventory system in the cycle is much more simple and straight forward, meds are very simplified, and the time to actually load into the map is minimal, that is, when the game used to work. Hoping they fix the game eventually but more than likely just going to be another game that fades away due to developer negligence.

DO NOT BUY. Where to even begin. The game is poorly designed, and if you like any real shred of realism, this is not it either. traffic spawns specifically to block you on a race course, police spawn right on top of you and youll be in a chase with a non existant car for a few seconds as its spawning on top of you. Sometimes youll come out of a race, and a cop will spawn ramming into your vehicle which causes massive damage. These are game breaking glitches you have to put up with any time you enter night mode. Day races even at max level yield little money in comparison to costs of builds, and it will continually unlock cars as you progress that are completely irrelevant to the game, for instance youll unlock a tier of cars that range from a super car to some trash from the 70s that cant keep up in any race. I thought you were supposed to unlock bigger and better and thats simply not the case here. This game is an absolute trainwreck of glitches with little to no reward for suffering through it. I mean, theres so many super cars yet the fastest car by far in the game is an old bug in one of the first unlock tiers....I think that speaks for itself. As an experienced tuner in the forza horizon series, buy that, youll have way more fun.

This game is fun dont get me wrong, the pve aspect and community servers are well put together, but pvp is overrun with cheaters. Walling is too easy since most walls and objects are penetrable and it gets old very quickly. I play games like tarkov, csgo, siege etc. and never have I been so ashamed to have made the mistake of paying actual money for this. Some games are so fun and so well balanced, and others you cant even spawn before the nearest wall is getting pumped with an lmg mag. Its sad that there isnt more action being taken against these offenders, because this game has a lot of potential, but core aspects and actions are being overlooked. Too bad really. If youre deciding on the purchase, its worth it on sale, just know what to expect.
