Review Showcase
67 Hours played
This review heavily spoilers the first ending of this game, I'm also not gonna talk about how the game looks and sound, I believe that explaining the story will do much better than just describing how the game plays or feel. Or maybe you'll get a bit of more understanding after reading this.

World Perspectives
If you didnt watch anyone talked about this game/reviews, you're probably is completely clueless on your first playthrough. I will do my best to not spoiler too much, eventhough im about to completely explain the first ending. Before that i will give some basic perspective of the world in Cruelty Squad. Well basically you are in a world without DEATH, yes respawningbody reconstructing is cannon in this game, each life cost 500$, since life is so cheap it ♥♥♥♥♥ the economy badly. making even greater disparity of wealth than real life, due to that human life is almost seen as nothing but an assets by the riches, plummeting it's value to negative. With that said, big corporation will only grow bigger and richer. Im also very eager to mention that npc dialogues of this game is amazing, it honestly makes the game feel at least 35% more immersive. Here, this is a good one of an npc breaking the fourth wall, "Theory time. Us civilians are a writhing mass of flesh, vaguely connected by vegetative psychological link. Our value is determined by an extradimensional being who is toying with us. We have no capacity for thought, we're simply an ecosystem of flesh." - Someguy From Neuron Activator

Entrapment
I'ma just get straight to the point here. The archon grid is a place to trap the divine souls in material world, by preventing their souls ascending to the divine realm.(according to gnosticism) At the level archon grid our objective is to disable the grid, via killing abraxas. Doing so will brings us to the ending's cutscene, acknowledging MT that the past is now ever-present. Because the grid has been disabled, which make every single soul that are supposedly trapped in the material realm ascend back to divine realm, but this is achieved thru killing abraxas, *aka the guy that rules archon, so life is now truly worthless without death.

After reading this piece of horribly written review, i hope this at least make you understand the entrapment cutscene better. I stole some of the information from wiki and people's reviews, go read other's review from a different platforms or whatever will be better than try understanding this pile of human waste wrote by a flesh automaton motivated by boredom.
