Look, I love this game and Warhammer 40k in general. This should have been an easy slam dunk but as of right now I just cannot recommend this game. The single player is great but is only 6 hours which means it cannot be the main reason of purchase at this price point. The main replayability comes from the multiplayer operations and eternal war modes, and while eternal war is a serviceable PvP mode, operations is just annoying to play if you don't have a premade team.

Firstly, the matchmaking system for operations is so short sighted since it only allows one of each class per team but it doesn't take that into account when you queue up. If say, you wanted to level up Bulwark and you join a lobby that already has a Bulwark, too bad, you either gotta convince them to switch or you have to switch. There is also no option to play with just bots which just compounds the issue. Sure, this is a coop-centric game but at least allow me to easily queue with whatever I want to play at the moment. Not only is the problem that you can't play the class you want but the actual leveling of that class is so much slower if you can't focus grind that specific class. Some weapons are class exclusive and obviously the skill trees for each class are exclusive as well, so if you don't have a team to play with all the time your progress is just bogged down for no reason.

Don't get me wrong, this game has a fantastic foundation but when the single player experience only offers a few hours of gameplay and operations is so frustrating to queue up in while also only including 6 missions, I simply cannot recommend this game at this time.

This game is a hidden gem of a rogue-lite containing aspects of Enter the Gungeon with a Monster Hunter-like boss chase at the center of its gameplay loop. The general idea is similar to EtG as you collect weapons (holding a max of two at a time Master Chief style) and buffing items which increase your overall power. The room to room clearing is also similar to other games of its kind but with the added twist of the boss being available to fight from the beginning. The boss is spawned at the start of each area with its health bar locked which means you have to explore the dungeon to unlock its health bar and earn weapons and items to increase your power. The player initially starts out as the mouse in this cat and mouse dynamic but you quickly grow in strength as you explore the stage. Once you have grown sufficiently in strength you take on the role of hunter and hunt the boss that moves between the rooms of the dungeon. This game is refined to an insane degree and the replayability and variations in its guns is extensive. The art style is also a pleasure to behold with fluid animations to round out the package. Highly recommend buying and supporting the devs on this one.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. This game is AMAZING. The gun fights are something to behold when both sides are well equipped. This games gets 2 times better with every player you add up to 4 for squad gameplay. Looking for loot and killing dudes is a genius idea because who doesn't like LOOT and the sweet smell of blood in the air. This game is a must buy. The only real flaw with this game is that the movement can be clunky at times, the network lag can be annoying, and the optimization is terrible, TURRIBLE. This game would be a solid 8/10 in my book with 10/10 potential assuming they fix the problems that I named.

Although this game is very fun with friends................ I actually paid for this stuff...........like I don't even know.
