It's a great game overall, but it's still missing quite some important features, such as a live NPC faction that builds like you do on the map for fighting or trading, and the most impressive features from the 2020 trailers.

And even then it`s a very very good experience, constantly updated and bug fixed (tho nothing super substantial, not from my perspective).

It had awesome potential and I managed to have lots of fun, but with each update the decisions and bugs got worse and worse.
At some point they removed the South American server, making it impossible for 1/3 of their daily player base to actually play.

Full of cheaters and bad balancing, after months of waiting to see what would happen I found out this:

This was overall a good experience, I was fully aware of the state of the game as I have been following it for a good part of 2024.
I managed to get the experience I was searching for with this, on the hole powerful alien that travels across the solar system and different dimensions destroying and get stronger to destroy more vibe.

If this is what you are looking for I'd say this is currently a 7.5 (Overall).


Now the game had some performance issues for me, mainly, on the big cities with lots of props and people (maybe lots of audio sources as well? I guess they are not optimized yet).
With that, there are some clear points that anyone would notice and want it better, the game needs mapping for all the different places you go (not only first planet) and a editable tagging system for players, much like the quests (would be nice to set up visibility options for the markers), so the game currently lacks many quality of life features and improvements.
The dialogue is actually good for some bits but, overall its a pain to listen to and tho the game can be pretty astonishing at times, its graphics are not special in any way, for the intent of the game and scope I think its fine but, power/effects and character models/armor models need to be much better in a 1.0.
As any UE5 game and Early Access game, it still misses all that you would expect but still providing a cool experience.


Played with everything on Epic settings with only textures and effects on Ultra and View Distance on High, the average fps was around 66 with it raging from 40~90 fps (locked at 90, could go to 144 easily), again, moving too fast towards dense areas and fighting in dense areas, decreases fps a lot and fast.

Hopping this game gets more visibility and that it will succeed in being a complete and good looking game in the near future.

Is it a cool flight and dogfight simulator that keeps you wanting to play more and keep progressing, YES! While even making me wanna play tanks, even tho i couldn't care less, YES!

Is it everything people say the game and company is bad for? No, its actually double whatever the topic or complain may be!


Gotta give negative review, there is no other way! Its really beyond me why anyone would want to add to hell time for free like that.. DEVS, reality is the same for all, ``life is short, hell is forever`` hope ya happy with your decisions when the time comes, enjoy it!

Truly, is the best skate simulator ever done, with awesome graphics, great physics, and good variety in Maps (A huge amount in modded maps), one of the greatest communities I`ve ever seem.

Definitely, you can see how much this would stand true when other games lost a lot of visibility to Session, while even having implemented more in some places.


Unfortunately, this visibility is fast sinking while Skate 4 is in the works and Session Devs have refused Multiplayer for this game.
Their claim is that with the physics used in-game, multiplayer would be messy and a far cry from their vision of the game. Now clearly this is only half the story, as Nacon stopped them from migrating to UE5 a few years ago (think 2~3y), I say that because not implementing multiplayer has nothing to do with game limitations, but rather a TECH limitation that can easily be fixed but, doesn't seems like it will.

As far as I`ve seen and followed up with this game`s progression over the years I can tell for a fact this is another story of a small company with a great dream, if not the biggest, that goes the opposite direction because of dog water investors and shareholders that cap the possibilities for the game whilst also making fans angry at the wrong group of people, the DEVs.


I hope this trend of big companies buying half if not most of these small games and absolutely dog-watering it into oblivion will stop at some point. It`s unfortunate that Session Devs really needed those deals to keep producing the game and get more people onboard, I`m 100% sure the game would be leagues better had that not been the case.


From a skater`s (15years) perspective and a gamer, this is a 8/10 that never had the need to go bellow 10/10, but alas, definitely worth buying and playing (not to sure about overpriced DLCs tho.)

Very good game, sure there are some stuff anyone would want it to be better at, but the game is so good I don't care about the issues it has.

Putting it quite simply, one of the most immersive worlds I have known, as well as challenging. The possibilities and replayability are infinite.
