EDIT EDIT: HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY. After alot of searching scanning and running commands and reinstalling and everything under the sun, I figured out how to fix the game.

IF YOU ARE HAVING ISSUES GO TO THE FILES FOR THE GAME AND RUN "start_protected_game.exe", It should boot the anti cheat then eventually go away, steam then notices and says it's starting the game and the anticheat boots again then the game is fine. How tf is the fix this simple like CMON

My proposition
fix your game's crashing issues I fix my review.

Edit:Still gonna keep playing though

HEY YOU, i had to catch your attention. Alan wake is great if you want a game that gives you twilight zone vibes mixed with thriller, The gameplay loop may seem dated and repetitive but they change it up throughout the story so it's fine, what you really come for is the story.

When/If you play the game, Record it or at least pay attention to the papers and details its not a loop its a spiral and you can get lost in it if you'd like.

There's also a spinoff short show thats like a prequel i would suggest watching if you want to know the vibe going in

Honestly while playing it did feel a little dragged out but when i finished it which was just now it leaves you wanting more, the game was originally supposed to be open world and at some points you can feel it, the tower in the distance but beyond the horizon there's no road.

Give this game a try. and also>It's not a lake it's an o c e a n

I'll be one of the few to give a good review, Granted a NASA computer is needed to run the game it is beautiful...From the gunplay to melee and down to the minute details of smashing open a vending machine for a snack or closing a dishwasher by accident, Point is they have the big picture and the small picture BUT they do need to work of their spaghetti code Port.

Early Access Review
This is one of the few reviews i'll make but this game deserves it i feel,Barotrauma put simply and shortly is a game where you are part of a submarine crew on a alien world fighting against the world itself and its inhabitants to get to the end (not finished) hoping from station to station,This is my most played game on PC and the fact is it doesn't feel like I've put 700 hrs into this game is a testiment to itself,I would put more hours in it but you need a crew... that I don't have. Ps: If you've read this I hope you have a good week
