Grindy game with boring gameplay. Half of the UI is broken and the endgame is just grind all these bosses again with people who don't know the boss mechanics.

The game focuses you on parrying and at the end of the game they punish you for trying to parry. I feel like I am fighting an open release Shadow of the Erdtree boss for no reason. The boss arena's are also way too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ questionable as backgrounds. If there is a mod to just delete the backgrounds and have them just be black screens it would be a 10/10 improvement. They don't get in the way of beating the boss but far too distracting.

Sony did their part and backed off. Time to get this game back into the positive. Be sure to do your part Helldiver.

Fighting mechanics are ♥♥♥♥. Getting rubber-banded around in a single-player game is unacceptable. 1-3 enemies are okay with its current engine, but it is clear that this game is poorly designed around enemies exceeding 4 enemies. Flying around is fun and the story is not bad so far but the fighting is clearly something they didn't spend as much time as they should have.

Join me! Imagine what we could accomplish together... what we could create. Or we could destroy! Cause the deaths of countless innocents in selfish battle again and again and again until we're both dead! Is that what you want? Think about it, hero!

Gameplay has been fun but it has a few hiccups that I can't recommend at this time. Maybe in a few months or a few years would be when I say to pick up this game.

My computer that has a Ryzen 7 5800X and a RTX 3080 having my computer out of nowhere restart. Can't call it a BSOD because I didn't get a BSOD just a reboot.

With my hardware this should not happen and the fact that it is means that it should be taken back to a closed Alpha but it is already in an open Early Access. Not much else to say except wait til some major updates come and the community says that BSOD/system restarts are more of a rarity than a common thing.

GL Devs, what you have made so far has been fun and enjoyable and I wish you the best.

Edit: I am a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot. I had the same problem I mentioned here with Gundam Evolution. Spent a week or 2 troubleshooting it because it can't only be 2 games and this was all solved by remembering that I never downloaded my motherboard's bios updates. So even though I started this as a negative review thinking it was something with the game it was just me and I am sad that I placed blame on something that was not the cause of my issues.

This is a game about commitment. If you can't put in the time to learn/look up guides on how to beat a boss, then you will not like this game. It does require patients and has annoying side quests that can easily get locked out of, but the longer you play the game the easier it is. Whether you make a new game or beat it and make a new game+ I recommend this game to those who are not faint of heart, and I also recommend if people are surrounded by robust things...

This is a game you will lose sleep over, for instance last night I was playing with some friends and I got the imposter role and was like cool I get to go kill ppl. I go over to fake a task that is far away from anyone to catch stragglers that enter in somewhere and has an easy escape route for me when I kill somebody. Well one friend runs toward the emergency button to call a meeting, typically used for seeing someone do very suspicious things. I, mind you, am nowhere near a vent (imposters can only use this) but that does not stop the friend that ran straight to the button from spawn to claim that he saw me vent (which I didn't). Because my friends hate me they voted me off before I could kill anyone and I died due to a 100% jab in the dark.PS really fun game
