A meh addition to the Battlefield franchise with a campaign to be ignored and a cheater problem. Abysmal UI and general gameplay. Ear-no-no-sexy loud with no ability to change the volume for several minutes. Unskippable and annoyingly loud intro. All-in-all I can only assume development was a nightmare if this is what we got.

Update 8/1: Steam has refused my refund request 4 times. The Multiplayer does NOT work and is FILLED with cheaters, the Campaign is BAD, the Writing is WORSE, and the Gameplay is a 6/10 at its best. This game is a disgrace to what I remember from Battlefield 3.

...and, because it takes more than 2 hours to test, meaning Steam has lost the monetary incentive to listen to you, there doesn't seem to be a chance at a refund for a broken and abandoned $4 scam. You will not receive the experience/gameplay described, after paying money for it. You're better off buying a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ case and key in CS2... but do it in LoL or Valo, not here!

A disappointing change of pace from a promising development team.

Servers are often lagged to standstill. Mob attacks will bug out. Some classes have been nerfed to uselessness, instead of brought to an equal level; this is unfortunately becoming a recurring trend from IRONMACE, and veteran experience in development is sorely missed.

5.5/10 release, but recent updates are somewhat promising. I actually like the F2P release considering their reasoning was "it needs improvement", as it sorely does. After playing the playtests, and now, it seems they focused far too much on altogether new content rather than fixing already existing issues, regarding classes, items, mobs, players, trading, and more. Currently a mess where you are better off sticking to the F2P version.

A worthy sequel that expanded on enough of the right things to keep veterans happy, while healthily experimenting with all-new systems to bring in newbies. A fantastic world to get lost in and make your own story from.

A.I. mid-late game could use more updating, be wary of a drawn-out, dozens-hundreds of hours and multi-generational family campaign on higher difficulties.

No matter what Fallout game you start with, you love Fallout: New Vegas. That's why it's the best one.

Instead of optimization of deep city and fixing the awful performance that has minimal to show beyond scale, which a great deal of fixing is still needed, they released fps "targets"(?) for people who don't play on PC to play on PC. What?

Also, paid mods. They claim this will encourage more people to mod. Yeah, for money, while doing it with no passion. Sound familiar? Stop ruining the few good things WE have made from your ♥♥♥♥-ups.

Also, updates for series whatever-nobody-cares and 5th-edition-ain't-♥♥♥♥-new consoles for a 9 year old game.

The base game and Far Harbor, MAYBE nuka-world if you're feeling wasteful. That's it. Don't burn another dime.

9.5/10 Singleplayer

7/10 Multiplayer, much better with friends of course; though lag, hacking and targeting can get pretty bad.

Not ready yet. optimization is needed and will shift from 60 fps to 20 fps in the same situations. settings are reset upon each launch. Game crashes upon setting change. hitbox register issues. scoring issues. good development team, promising. for now, 50% sale or skip another 2 years.

Update 5/26/2024: Hitboxes have vastly improved, as well as the British faction. Mortain is a lot of fun.

Update 7/26/2024: No longer recommended due to a complete abandonment of the roadmap by Team17, and instead a ♥♥♥♥ DLC shoved out instead. Buy at -75% or not at all.

Every other game has minimum one BLATANT cheater (especially after 10k), minimal content, shoddy matchmaking and near zero reliability, rigged case openings, subtick is a letdown.... what the ♥♥♥♥ was to like about this? HUGE failure, do better.

NEVER forget, Valve made you pay for this, changed it to free, and removed the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anti cheat. let toxic dogs die.
