So, so... so terrible. This game is a direct downgrade from previous BL games in every aspect. The jokes are recycled and overused (eg. Tina referring to skeletons as 'skellymens' 30 times in the tutorial alone). The story is boring but even if it was good the constant cutaways to Tina's DnD table take away any stakes or sense of urgency from anything you're doing. The dialogue is hard to listen, Tina just screams at you to do things and the other two forgettable characters deliver their one-liners. They try to capture Handsome Jack's energy for the 3rd time in the series by allowing antagonists to talk to you directly throughout the story but nothing they say is at all memorable or referential to a backstory of any depth. Overall the game is very disappointing, I understand it's not trying to be a Borderlands game but it fails as a stand alone game and it fails as a spin-off.

I am sorry. I simply cannot support this type of *** ********. If I found my 4 year old daughter playing Paladins, I would turn off the telly and give her a book instead. Which book? I'm not sure, possibly Einsteins manifesto, or something to that effect.

bad ending bad combat, loved the first game. also know that you're paying £25 (possibly £35) for 12 hours of gameplay max.

I absolutely can support this kind of *** excellence, if I found my 5 year-old reading a book, I would take it away and give them this game.

Ok I have looked through hundreds of negative reviews and 90% of them are complaining about creation club/paid mods now I get it paid mods are ♥♥♥♥ but that's Bethesda not the game if you take away the paid mods the game itself is good I want people to realise that, go complain to Bethesda on their Facebook page or their twitter not on the fallout 4 steam page where they obviously don't read the complaints or care about what people are saying this page is for the game itself.

Now if you're one of the 10% that don't like the game because of minimal role-play or you think that "THEY TOOK THE RP OUT OF THE G" as I once heard some kid say then listen, would you still dislike it if it didn't label itself as a role-playing game or if it was the first in a new series because most people are saying it's bad because there are only a fraction of the choices that there were in 3 or New Vegas in which case not every "Role-playing game" has that much choice, go to the search bar and look up all RPGs and you get stuff like Terraria, Borderlands and even Dota 2 which is a moba all of which have minimal role-play and barely any choices take Borderlands 2 for example it is known as a role playing game and the only choices you make are in a couple side quests you can choose who to help and people love it (96% positive reviews), the term "RPG" is very loose and compared to other games that are labeled "RPG" it has quite a lot of choice (spoilers ahead) like if you choose to help the railroad, the brotherhood of steel or the institute, certain random encounters have you make hard decisions with minimal information so you need to use your charisma to find out more or go with your gut feeling, if you have the Nuka World DLC then you need to decide weather to set the slaves free or to take over the commonwealth and become enemies of the minutemen.

In conclusion it may have paid mods and yes I hate Bethesda for that and it may not have as much role-play as it's predecessors but it by itself is a good game.

Underated because everyone saw class based shooter and thought OVERWATCH CLONE which it is not if people actually played a couple of games then they would understand but because it died like a month after launch people don't remember/don't know it exists, which sucks.
