This game was honestly phenomenal. It was really captivating in every sense of what a metroidvania is. That being said, its competition in the genre doesn't exactly justify the price. Hollow Knight is much cheaper and much longer than the game, and there is some post-game stuff but not a ton. I really liked the game, I didn't mind the price but I know some people will because of that, so just get it on a sale because the game itself was honestly amazing. Think Hollow Knight but with puzzles instead of fights. The map sizing actually makes sense though, same with inventory management, so I think the price needs to come down rather than an expansion being introduced

I started this game in class cause I was bored, but despite the buggy world generation this game is an incredible combination of horror JRPG elements and roguelike mechanics. I'm a huge fan of roguelikes and every time I start playing I can't stop💀😭

I thought this game was really good, but they updated the game majorly since I finished the third chapter and the AI are super buggy and difficult to deal with. There's honestly points you can't actually complete the game. I enjoyed it before the chapter 4 release, and will still be excited for chapter 5, but if they keep upping the graphics and ruining the AI I don't think I'll be able to play this game.

You haven’t played videogames until you’ve played Celeste. Outside of the wind area, the platforming in this game will make you feel way too powerful at life in general, and I just overall enjoyed the story, 100% recommended

Early Access Review
If I remember correctly, this game is still in development, however its a really well made game. it's quite simple to play for the most part, but it is still difficult. It is honestly a relaxing game as well. The game itself is an interesting concept, as it is a roguelike game, however, instead of switching every time you play the game, the levels switch every other day. The music is amazing as well, and the game has a really cute, warming aesthetic and atmosphere to it. It has a ways to go of course, since it is still in development and all, but it is honestly a really good game. The controls are a bit weird to get used to though, and I wish they would add the ability to remap keyboard controls. But other than that, I have no complaints about this game

A wonderful, slow paced horror game. It’s not as scary as some horror games out there, but it’s scary enough, and it’s really cutesy. It gives you a false sense of comfort with it so that when stuff actually happens it actually scares you. But it’s still a really slow paced, relaxing game. There isn’t a particular rush when you’re playing (of course you’re going to not want to die, but there isn’t much of a sense of urgency either), and on top of this, the game is very simple to play. You just need to know how to click forwards, sprint, and open doors. The controls can be changed as well, so they’re just 3 simple controls that you decide. It’s just a great game for if you have time to burn if you have too much time on your hands. On top of this, you can play the arcade mode as well after you beat the game. It’s literally just a fun, relaxing game is you’re looking for something that won’t stress you out

Another game I’ve played a lot more on my switch than on steam, The End is Nigh is what every play forming game should be. Every time you enter a screen, what you see is what you get. There isn’t random events or random thing you can’t see off screen. No, everything that’s on the screen is what will keep happening. Because of this, despite how difficult the game really is, you can essentially learn the level after trial and error, and because of this, as long as you try you can beat every level in the game. It’s the kind of difficulty you can’t complain about because the game is fair, and that’s what makes this game amazing. On top of this, the game’s graphics are amazing, the music is a wonderful take on really old orchestral songs, and the game has a game within itself with the arcade machine, that adds more bonus fun.

I’ve played this game well over 600-700 hours in total between 4 different devices, and The Binding of Isaac never fails to satisfy me. It is a more mature game, just based off a lot of the various aspects of the story (both the plot story and the story behind various endings and items). It has excellent replay value because of how unique each character, and also because of its rogue-like aspect. There are likely millions of possible runs you can get just based off the sheer value of stuff the game include, and the game’s difficulty makes it enjoyable as well. Overall, this game is enjoyable and simple, yet difficult and it will most definitely be worth your money just based off of how much there is to do. Not necessarily for the light of heart though

I’ve played this game for over 50 hours in my switch, so even though I haven’t played as much on steam, this game is beautiful. It has amazing artwork, it’s actually really easy to play (at least for me), it has extraordinary music, the fights leave you wanting more, the story is well thought out and played out, and it’s just overall one of the best games I’ve ever played. You go wherever you want whenever you want, as long as you can make it there, and the only thing that is essentially stopping you is yourself. I cannot stress enough how amazing this game is, and I can’t wait for the sequel to comes out. It’s worth every dollar
