Despite all the slack this title is thrown, this was one of the more enjoyable entries to clear. The story alone, which feels somewhat disconnected from the others, is extremely strong by itself. Genuinely, I think this game holds one of the strongest stand alone stories ever told. However, the game play is iffy at best, (I don't mind all the blocking, I just find all the other mechanics annoying) and the sentiment of "should've been Kiwami 3" ring very true.

What the actual ♥♥♥♥ did I just play. Indescribable/10

Very alright game. Combat feeling snappy, but also floaty, and its a very odd balance. The story is one of the strongest, but doesn't stand well with the overall plot of the series.

Very good game. Story is absolutely amazing, so many intricacies and twist, keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. The leveling system is also pretty good. Whilst I didn't enjoy it at first, I definitely prefer it over Yakuza 0's leveling. Goro Majima is by far one of the funniest characters in fiction, and has probably become my new comfort character. The only thing weighting this game down are the bosses. Some of these bosses, are very, very bad. Like, some of the most bottom of the barrel, Walmart bargain bin bosses. The only few I had a good time with was the final fight, later Shimano fight, and the one boss on the rooftop. (Forget his name) Close to a 10/10 but the bosses really, really knock off some points. 8.5/10

It's good. Campaign is probably one of the best experiences ever, but the multiplayer is kinda dead. Buy it for the campaign, whether it's on sale or not. (I'm well aware of the Northstar client)

Very good. One of the best beat-em-ups ever. The only complaint I have is how the heat bar does't feel like it scales with damage, like in other game, but other than that, very good. 9.5/10

I don't even know what to say. I just finished the game, not even 10 minutes ago, and I am blown away by it's, just, stunning quality. I haven't even attempted chapter 8, in fear I'll be at my desk till dawn. Despite the difficulty present in this game, it's just amazing. I, personally, am not very persistent when it comes to harder games. Celeste, however, held me in a tight grasp, and made ever room feel like a genuine achievement. I originally did not think this game would be as good as many have said, for I don't care much for story. The story though, it's stunning. Whilst somewhat generic, it is performed flawlessly. Please, if you have the money, (and a controller,) play this game. 9.5/10

It's fun for the most part. Some characters are just annoying to play and make me want to commit anti living acts, but the good/actually playable characters are really fun. (Except Apollyon for some reason) Overall, really good game, just play the bad characters last if you're going for 100% completion. 8/10
