I wish there was a neutral option for reviews, because that's the way I feel about this game.

I've had plenty of free time recently so I no lifed this game from star to endgame and I have to say it was an absolute blast playing it. Story is not really all that impressive, it can be summed up to ‘you are the hero, the chosen one and you'll be reminded of this every time you do anything, regardless, it does its job. Combat is without a doubt PERFECT, each class feels amazing to play and the opening is something I wish more MMOs did, they give you a sneak peak of the classes and allow you to test it on mobs or one boss. The dungeons are really well made and there are mechanics to the bosses, so it's not just attacking until it's dead, there is an enemy variety and the gear/cosmetics are also really cool looking even at the beginning.

I like how a lot of systems are slowly introduced to you as well so you don't feel too overwhelmed and once you reach and unlock some of the endgame content you will have an amazing time clearing chaos dungeons, guardian raids and even some of the abyssal dungeons. I cannot stress enough just how amazing the combat and the classes are in this game, the dungeons and raids bosses are amazingly designed with different mechanics to follow through, given this content is genuinely no joke, the game will have a spice in difficulty meaning that you'll have to master your class and even have to team up with other players to cover your weaknesses which sounds cool but is one of the main problems of this game as I found out later.

HOWEVER, this a free game, not only that, a KOREAN game, and if you've played or heard of korean MMOs, you'll probably expect a P2W system, lots of systems to upgrade your character which are all designed for you to take a lot of time to fully upgrade them and push you into bringing out your wallet and yes, this game has it all. After you reach the endgame it becomes the classic Korean MMO experience, grind for days and days the same dungeons/raids hoping to fully upgrade your character only for you not being lucky enough and seeing hours of gameplay wasted.

If you want to optimize all of this and stay free to play, you'll have to spend a disgusting amount of time into it (that I currently have but once my life gets busy again I’ll probably have to drop this game), having to create alts and play daily which can easily eat up 2 hours of your day. The biggest problem is the gatekeeping, players will not accept anyone that doesn't have the maximum item level. There is also a very obvious bot problem with the game that as far as I know has been going for a lot of time.

I recommend this game to play just for the main story quest, because it is genuinely one of the best experiences I've had in any MMO. There are actually some players out there that help some new players but I had to join a discord server and I was lucky enough to find people that were willing to help me clear some of the raids. But many people aren't just going to go through the effort of finding other players like I did and it's completely justifiable, not to mention the crazy P2W and the amount of time you have to dedicate to this game. Still this game has a lot of mechanics and systems that are worth experiencing but beware as you may get too hooked into this game.

I've played this game long enough and started back in 2019 and with the current state I can't really say that I recommend this game, firstly is a Korean ARPG that installs Xingcode, so that already may be enough reason for some people to not try it out (and I wouldn’t blame you), over the years the game just seems to not be going anywhere, there’s not exactly a too active player base but the devs still update this game.

Right now and for the past years they decided to do ‘Jumping Character’ events in which you can pretty much create a character at endgame with endgame gear, and while it may sound cool for experienced players, for a beginner it could be overwhelming and even a quit moment. That said if you do decide to grind all the way you may enjoy yourself, the story is pretty basic and you’ll probably forget a couple of things here and there, the classes you can pick are actually pretty fun to play with and the overall combat system is genuinely fun, but the repetitiveness of the dungeons, the ok graphics and the mediocre sound design might not be enough to keep you playing.

When you do reach endgame it just becomes your average Korean RPG experience, grind your dailies for better gear and upgrade all the systems, this game doesn't has as many systems as you'd expect and all of them are pretty easy to understand but they do have plenty of rng, so you could spend months grinding and get nowhere (it has happened to me), the cash shop is not to terrible either, this game is more eager to sell you cosmetics but this comes with gacha so you could end up with a skin of another class.

The way I played this game was in a dress up simulator just grinding cash to then buy skins from other players but since the player base is not that big anymore and they recently changed the black market UI, doing this becomes more miserable too. If you still read this and want to try it out then go ahead it's free so why wouldn't you, right? I believe that you could genuinely have a nice time and the game is pretty solo friendly, but looking at it from an objective view there's just better games out there to try out and play than this one.

So, this game is probably one of my most played games, is such a simple game yet so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun to play and play over and over again, it's a game that you can engage with very easily, one of the things that has kept me playing so much has been the modding community and the last sand update which was absolutely amazing.
I believe this game is truly a masterpiece and every gamer need to at least play it once in their lifetime.
